The conference will be jointly hosted by BiharBrains Scholastic Center, Patna University, Patna and Ministry of Science and Technology, Bihar.

The objective of the conference is to bring together experts from various fields to evaluate the existing information, to interpret the presented data, to discuss the suitable measures for clear and useful results and finally to explore if the collective efforts are promising to achieve favorable working environment for research and development in the state.

Patna University is 7th oldest University of Indian subcontinent, which was established in the year 1917. Patna University is a prominent center for education and learning since its existence. This preexisting university got recognition by UGC in 1956. It has several colleges and institutions, imparting education in diverse fields, including Law, Teachers’ Training, Science and Arts, Commerce, Medical and Engineering.

The manpower coming out of the University have always occupied prominent place in different segments of the Indian society. Some of the prominent alumni of the University include:

Justice B. P. Singh, the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Justice L. M. Sharma, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Justice K. B. N. Singh, ex-Chief Justice of Madras and Patna High Court, as well as Governor of Madras and Bihar. Mr. Lal Narain Sinha, Attorney General of India. Since its inception, the Patna University had enjoyed the benefit of guidance from the eminent personalities from diverse fields, which include:Dr.Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India , the first President of the Constituent Assembly of India Jayprakash Narayan, a great freedom fighter and the father of total revolution. Dr. Anurag Narayan Sinha, a great freedom fighter and the first Finance Minister of Bihar Braj Kishore Prasad, a great freedom fighter Sir Syed Sultan Ahmed, who became a member of the Executive Council of Viceroy of India Hasan Imam, who became the President of Indian National Congress

Patna is the capital of the Indian state of Bihar, and one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world. The modern city of Patna lies on the southern bank of the Ganges. A bustling city of 1,800,000 people, the city is approximately 25 km long and 10 km wide. The city, being the administrative centre of the state has retained its historic importance, It has also remained an important educational centre over the centuries.

BBrains Development Society, commonly known as ‘BIHAR BRAINS’, is a non profit organization registered under Society Act with special focus on awareness building on education and creating environment for research and development in Bihar. The society came in existence in 2004 and has established its office in Patna. It is being run by NRIs, NRBs and educated people of Bihar.
