The LaSalle Boys Baseball Program and Illinois District 20 would like to welcome you to the Illinois State 9-10-11 Year Old All-Star Tournament. The tournament will begin on Saturday, July 27 with 4 games and wrap up on August 2nd. The District Administrator for Dist 20 is Tim Trevier, cell 815-878-8801 (e-mail ildist20da @yahoo.com ). The opening ceremonies for the event will take place on Friday evening, July 26th, with the affidavit verification taking place at 5:30pm, the player parade beginning at 5:45 followed by a Pizza Party for the teams and an open swim at the Veterans pool beginning at 6:30 thru 8:30. We ask that all teams bring with them their District & Sectional Banners for the player parade onto the field. Also, during the National Anthem, we ask that all managers and coaches take their place around the American flag in the outfield to hold it on display. ( this is a 30X50 foot flag displayed during the anthem).

All games will take place on Bernardi Field at Hegeler Park located at 1300 St. Vincents Ave. in LaSalle. There are also 2 batting cages behind the center field fence and another little league field located at the south end of the park. Also, a softball field is located here that can also be utilized for practice.

Along with the tournament schedule, we are enclosing a list of area hotels, restaurants and Illinois Valley area attractions for those of you that may have to stay the night. LaSalle is a small community of 10,000 people and with the neighboring cities of Peru & Oglesby, there are a number of name brand restaurants along with many local favorites within a 15 minute drive from LaSalle. This area plays host to the Central Region States All- Star tournament which takes place in July and sends the champion to the Senior League World Series in South Carolina. This will be the second State Tournament that the LaSalle Little league has hosted with the other being the Little League Tournament in 2012.

We will be providing tournament T shirts for all players participating in the event and we will also be offering for purchase, souvenir shirts thru an online ordering process thru the Locker Room for parents and fans.
