CIS stands for the key ingredients – Copper, Indium and Selenium.
Also known as CIGS because it also includes Gallium and Sulfur in the semiconductor layer.
Able to produce more electricity than crystalline silicon panels in real-world conditions.
Some technologies have high conversion efficiency in laboratory conditions, but it might not be as good as CIS modules technology in dealing with real world conditions.
Comparison between CIS modules and crystalline silicon panels
At higher temperature, CIS modules have higher module output.
Due to the lower temperature coefficient of CIS modules, they have the ability to produce more power in hot conditions.
In the real world, 1,000W of sunlight irradiance occurs less than 1% of the time.
CIS modules offer higher performance most of the time
In partially shaded conditions, CIS modules continue to provide energy.
Typical crystalline silicon panels would stop generating electricity even at partially shaded conditions.

Performance -CIS modules produce more electricity than crystallin silicon in real world conditions.Design - The black, anti-glare surface of the modules offers a high quality design element without disturbing surroundings.Environmentally friendly - Solar energy system sources a clean and renewable energy.

The Tesla Powerwall is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery product manufactured by Tesla Motors for home use. It stores electricity for domestic consumption, load shifting, and backup power.
Home solar installations consist of a solar panel, an electrical inverter, and now a home battery to store surplus solar energy for later use.
