Security DeskFROM THE

Howdy folks!

I hope everyone enjoyed their summer and is ready for the transition to Fall. We have seen a lot of suspicious/criminal activity in our neighborhood within the last few months. I have been communicating with neighbors about this activity. It’s time to make some changes or consider making some changes. We have decided to use our BPNA General Meeting on October 17th to discuss crime in the neighborhood.

We have been in contact with our local police officer and plan to have someone from the department come to the General Meeting and discuss the options we have, as a neighborhood, to deter crime. One idea is the Volunteers on Patrol Program and another is hiring an off-duty police officer to patrol our neighborhood. Specific details will be discussed at the meeting. So, bring your questions and your thinking cap. Our desire is to learn how to make our neighborhood safer by deterring crime.

Hope to see you all at the General Meeting. Have a great start to October and remember…be observant, vigilant and neighborly!

October’s Yard of the Month is none other than the BOO-tiful 3235 Basil Court. Owners, Matt and Richard, are known for always bringing a little extra magic to Bryan Place during the holidays! They’ve definitely outdone themselves this fall season!

Their colorful masterpiece is best enjoyed after sundown. Then you can see the floating candles lining the roof, the sparkling spider dropping from the tree, and the glowing graveyards with protruding hands. You’ll be greeted by pumpkin-headed ghosts, spooky skeletons, and even a vampire Minion sure to please the kids! Make sure you drop by this Hallow’s Eve for some tricks or treats!
