Once there was a kid by the name of Big Will, who

woke up crying from a dream wishing he could

play sports.

He suddenly jumped out of bed, and realized how

big he was. Where Will was from, you could start

playing sports by the age of 7. It was finally his

year and he was to big too play.

Will had older siblings that were star athletes. They

always picked on Will for being so big and so

young.

Later that day, Will came across his parents argu-

ing. His father was complaining that Will was just

to big. “Something must be done”, Dad said. “He is

just a child he will grow out of it .“, Mother replied.

Later that day, Will eventually asked his mother

about playing sports. With a shocked expression on

her face about the argument earlier, she thought it

was a good idea.

The next week Will went to a football tryout for the

little league Yellow Jackets. He was immediately

turned around, because of his size. As he walked off

the field he started crying, while the other kids

picked on him.

Will ran home and told his mom about his previ-

ous experience. With an inspiring voice, she told

him to pick his head up. “What ever you put your

mind to, you can do it!” his mother replied.

The next few weeks, Will had a new attitude about

things. He was determined to get better and make

those guys eats their words for turning him away.

He couldn't wait to prove he could do it by taking

his mother’s advice.

The time came when it was Will’s chance to prove

himself worthy, and showcase all of his hard work

and dedication. The boys were surprised at what

their eyes were seeing.

Over the course of Will’s life, he kept that same pas-

sion and burning sensation to always work hard.

Everything he did he always reflected on his

mother’s advice. Now Will plays for the real Yellow

Jackets.
