It has been an honor to assist the family in the presentation of their outstanding crop of yearling bulls. This set of future herd sires has been carefully engineered to provide both calving ease and growth. I don’t think that prospective customers will be disappointed, as the majority of the offering are suited for mating with heifers and the growth EPD’s on numerous lots are eye catching to say the least. The pedigrees represented here offer some of the most exciting AI sires along with home

raised sons that have proven themselves through past sales, as well as astute purchases the Bruns’ have made from some of the top programs in the country. The offspring from these sires has been meticulously culled and measured utilizing ultrasound, pelvic measurements and breeding soundness. This leaves a set of bulls that are sorted down to an elite group that have a multitude of information available for you to make your selections. Bruns Angus welcomes you with great enthusiasm to or 24th Annual Bull Sale. As I sit here and write this letter I

wonder what to say I know it seems like I say the same thing every year. The main reason for that is because not many

things change here Angus cattle are a huge part of our life. Cattle come fi rst to us. We strive to produce the best possible

genetics to our customers and consumers of Angus cattle. This is a family run operation that dad started many, many moons

ago. At times, like any other family run operation we get a little stressed out at each other. When many people are going to

Cancun in January for there winter vacation we are calving heifers in sometimes 20 below zero tempatures. I know I might

be a little off, but I’d much rather be sitting in calving barn than laying on a beach getting sunburned.

This years set of bulls is as powerful as we have ever raised. Many full brothers and half brothers are in the sale

offering also over half the bulls are suitable for use on heifers. Take advantage of record high calf prices and buy bulls that

will add pounds to your next calf crop. I feel we have a set of bulls that will do that. Thank you for taking time to evaluate
