    THE COACHESCLEVELAND BROWNS - ROMEO CRENNEL

    Romeo Crennel is entering his fourth season as HeadCoach and was rewarded with a two-year contract ex-tension (thru 2011) on Jan. 29, 2008. Crennel led theBrowns to a 10-6 record in 2007, including a franchise-best seven consecutive home wins, and witnessed sixBrowns selected to the Pro Bowl. Crennels offensedeveloped into a highly productive unit and rankedeighth in the NFL in offense (5,621 net yards) and scor-ing (402 points). The output of net yards and scoringalso ranked third best in franchise history. Crennel was

    amed head coach of the Cleveland Browns on Feb. 8, 2005, the 11th full-timeead coach in franchise history. Crennel returned to Cleveland in 2005, aftererving as the Browns defensive coordinator in 2000, and along with Phil Sav-ge helped rebuild the football operations. Crennel previously led the Browns

    o a respectable 6-10 record in his first year as a head coach and added a 4-12mark in 2006. His resume includes 38 years of coaching experience, including

    7 years in the NFL. Prior to rejoining the Browns, Crennel served as the defen-ive coordinator for New England (2001-04), helping the Patriots to three Super

    Bowl victories. From 1997-99, Crennel coached the defensive line on the NewYork Jets. He spent 12 years on the New York Giants coaching staff starting ashe special teams and defensive assistant coach in 1981. Crennel began hisrofessional coaching career in 1970 at his alma mater, Western Kentucky. Helso saw stints at Texas Tech, Mississippi and Georgia Tech before entering therofessional ranks.

    TENNESSEE TITANS - JEFF FISHERJeff Fisher is entering his 14th full season as headcoach of the Tennessee Titans. Fisher holds the fran-chise record for wins by a head coach with 120 victo-ries. In a five-year period between 1999 and 2003 histeams success is unmatched by any coach in franchise

    history. Fisher led the Titans to four playoff appear-ances (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003), two Division titles(2000 & 2002), two AFC Championship Games (1999,2002) and one Super Bowl berth (XXXIV). He presidedover the most victorious (56 regular season wins and 5

    ostseason wins) and successful five-year period in the franchises 47-year his-ory. Last year, Fisher led the Titans to a 10-6 mark and a playoff berth. Fisherriginally joined the Oilers coaching staff on Feb. 9, 1994, after spending twoeasons as the defensive backs coach for the San Francisco 49ers. He waslevated to head coach on Nov. 14, 1994, replacing Jack Pardee, for the finalix games of the season. Fisher officially began his coaching career as an as-istant for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1986, tutoring the defensive backs for threeeasons before becoming the NFLs youngest defensive coordinator in 1988. In991, Fisher headed west to be reunited with his college coach John Robinson,erving as the Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator before joining the 49ersne year later.

    THE SERIES

    The Browns Titans series dates back to 1970 when Cleveland defeated the Hous-ton Oilers, 28-14, in the first meeting between the two franchises. The Brownswent on to win the next eight games before Houston finally notched its first victory in974. Cleveland holds a 33-26 series record and carries a three-game winning streakgainst the Titans heading into Sundays game. RB Reuben Droughns rushed for 116ards on 20 carries and had 4 receptions for 73 yards to lead the Cleveland Brownso a 20-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Nov., 2005. Mannings 125 passing yards marked his first gamender 200 yards during the 2008 season. The Browns held Manning to his low-st passing output since he threw for 95 yards against Tennesse on Dec. 12,007.     Dorsey to get FIrst start with BrownsQB Ken Dorsey is set to make his first start for the Browns when Cleve

    heads to Tennessee on Dec. 7. Dorsey has appeared in two games foBrowns since joining the team in a trade with San Francisco for Trent prior to the 2006 season. Dorseys last start came as a member of the 4on Nov. 27, 2005 at Tennessee. Dorsey set career highs with 23 attempts43 completions.     Long DriveThe Browns engineered a 16-play 9:23 drive, which resulted in a K Phil Dawson

    5-yard field goal against Indianapolis on Nov. 30. The drive was the longest inerms of time of possession on the season. The 16 plays tied a season best.

    Rucker Makes NFL DebutTE Martin Rucker made his NFL debut against the Colts on Nov. 30. The 2008ourth-round draft choice recorded his first career reception, a nine-yard catchn third down, which resulted in a first down.

    Winslow Posts first Multi-Touchdown GaTE Kellen Winslow recorded his first multi-touchdown game of his cagainst Denver on Nov. 6.     Browns Honor Hall of Fame GuardThe Browns will honor Hall of Fame offensive guard Gene Hickerson by wear-ng a sticker on the back, lower left of the helmet next to the NFL Shield for theemainder of the season. The round sticker will be black and have GH in whiteettering.

Despite playing his entire cardefensive end, Wiggin recorded three career interceptions and returned hiinterception in 1960, 20 yards for a touchdown. Born in Modesto, Calif., Wreturned to his alma mater and coached for three years after a three-yeaas a coach with the Kansas City Chiefs.

    Walter Johnson DT 64 275 lbs Years with Browns: 1965-76Nicknamed Zoom for his notorious quickness off the ball, Johnson was by the Browns in the second round of 1965 NFL draft and went on to play game of all of his 13 seasons in the league. Johnson teamed with DT Sherk to create one of the most dominant defensive tackle tandems of theirDuring his career, Johnson fronted a Browns defense that notched twenmore forced fumbles in every season he was on the team. Even as an indefensive lineman, Johnson corralled two interceptions during his storied cand even broke off a 24-yard kickoff return playing special teams in 1972.

    Browns promote TuckerMel Tucker - Defensive Coordinator

    The Cleveland Browns named Mel Tucker defensiordinator. In 2008, Tucker received a two-year coextension and is signed through the 2010 season.er spent the last three seasons as the Browns defebacks coach under head coach Romeo Crennel.

    Tucker, a Cleveland native, inherited a young seary in 2007 as the Browns ranked 24th in the leallowing 230.1 yards passing per game. Tucker wsponsible for the development of two young safetthe secondary and tutoring youth at the corner poas well.

    Tucker assisted in the development of two draft choices who made an immediate impact in the Browns secondary.     Undlin came to Cleveland from the New EnglandPatriots, where he spent the 2004 season as the defen-sive assistant helping with the defensive backs. Undlinwas part of a Patriots team that won back-to-back Su-per Bowl championships and also won an NFL record21 straight games.

    Before joining New England, Undlin spent two seasons assisting with theefensive backs as a graduate assistant at Fresno State University (2002-03).

    During those two seasons, Fresno State won back-to-back Silicon Valley Bowlsy defeating Georgia Tech and UCLA, respectively.

    Prior to Fresno State, Undlin spent four years at Cal Lutheran University as anebackers/defensive coordinator (1998-2002). Undlin played defensive back at
