the Evangelist) upon which the veryrst Aghiasmo service was performedat the Brotherhood - thus inauguratingthe sure protection we had and alwayshave from the Mother of God.

The transformation to date of “yiayia’shouse” came about slowly and steadily.

With the blessings of Metropolitan Isaiahthe very rst liturgy in the chapel of SaintGeorge took place on the Saturday of theAssumption Greek Festival weekend in1999. While as Christians we are all calledto transform our way of thinking fromthe material to the spiritual (see Rom. 12),the transformation takes place throughoutthe whole entire time of our life!

Μέχρι τώρα η μεταμόρφωση του«σπιτιού της γιαγιάς” έγινε σιγά-σιγά και σταδιακά. Με τις ευλογίεςτου Μητροπολίτου Ησαΐου, η πρώτηΘεία Λειτουργία στο παρεκκλήσι τουΑγίου Γεωργίου πραγματοποιήθηκε τοΣαββατοκύριακο του της ΚοιμήσεωςΕλληνικού Φεστιβάλ το 1999. Ενώως Χριστιανοί όλοι καλούμαστε ναμετατρέψουμε τον τρόπο σκέψης μαςαπό το υλικό στο πνευματικό (Rom. 12)η μεταβολή γίνετε καθ ‘όλη τη διάρκειατης ζωής μας.

Without question, of the greatestSaints that the Church has everproduced is Saint Nicholas and asOrthodox we know this to the fullextent. Yet even the world recognizeshis seless and always giving character(Santa Clause or Jolly Ol’ St. Nick).At the Brotherhood we are grateful tohave “the little chapel in the gardens”of Saint Nicholas.

Χωρίς αμφιβολία, από τουςμεγαλύτερους αγίους που ηΕκκλησία έχει παραχθεί ποτέ είναιο Άγιος Νικόλαος. Ως Ορθόδοξοιγνωρίζουμε αυτό στην πλήρηέκταση.
