The ObituaryRICKY GARY KEMP, 61, born May 2, 1956, in Miami, Florida, was the son of Matthew and Eva Mae Kemp. He attended Bunche Park Elementary and North Dade for his education.

Ricky was known to many for his diverse characteristics. After battling a long-time illness, Ricky Gary Kemp entered into rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Ricky loved southern food, his morning breakfast, coffee, Little Debbie Cakes, beautiful women, western shows, soap operas, and fast cars, but mainly, his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Matthew and Eva Mae Kemp; two brothers, Matthew, Jr. and Arthur Kemp; sister Gwendolyn Laines.

Ricky is survived by: his six children, Theresa White, Ricky Kemp, Jr., Jermaine Kemp of Florida, Ashten (Teangelo) Woods of Augusta, Georgia, Cedrick (Rachel) Burch and Ricky Burch of Tennessee; twenty grandchildren, Tamirah Mitchell, James III, Randon, Jameah, Jamesha, Jamiya and Jaliyah White of Florida, Daija, Dayon, Josiah, Jermaine, Jr., Ashlyn and Joann Kemp of Florida, Lanautica, Tamir, Jayden, Trennis, Amelia and Alivia Woods of Augusta, Georgia and Jikora Burch of Tennessee; great grandchild, Amir Mills of Florida; the mothers of his children, Barbara Harris of Florida, Brenda Furse of Augusta, Georgia, Sandra Mason of Tennessee; sisters and brothers, Essie Camp, Ann Kemp and Nina Kemp of Augusta, Georgia, Weniford Kemp of Florida, Debbie (Micheal) Kikivarakis of Florida and Harvey (Stacy) Kemp of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
