High Strength Corners (with Bare panel finish)

Our Panels come with 90 degree drawn steel beamcorners, filled with high strength cement. Any loadplaced on the panel will be transferred to the panel cor-ners before traveling through the pedestals to the subfloor.

Even though our deep drawn beam corner is adifficult manufacturing process, it is done in orderto achieve the ultimate loading capacity necessary.This prevents upward bending of corners or dishing ofpanels. Cement is injected by high pressure pump toensure complete saturation of the panel.

Ultimate Load CapacityUltimate load capacity is defined as the point at whichpanel failure occurs. Our panels are designed andbuilt to a minimum safety factor of 2.5 x design load.This prevents failure that could lead to injury or mas-sive equipment damage.

Manufacturing ExcellenceCold rolled steel sheets are punched andspot welded to produce the panel. It is thenphosphorated and coated with EPOXY powderand the interior cavity is injected with a foamed ce-ment. A fire proof HPL hard wearing or conductivePVC tile is then fixed to the plate. All edgescan be finished with conductive PVC edges on re-quest.

Understanding The SpecificationsRaised Access Floor System Are Specifiedby the loading characteristics of the panels.To ensure the performance of the raised ac-cess floor system will best suit the require-ments of the end user the complete raisedaccess floor system is subject to a series oftest.

There are 6 basic test that should be con-ducted on all raised floor system to ensuremaximum performance and longevity:

� Concentrated Load Test

� Uniform Load Test

� Ultimate load Test

� Impact load test

� Rolling Load Test

Concentrated Load: A load is applied over a25mm x 25mm steel indentor with the deflectionof the panel not exceeding 2.5 mm for the con-centrated load specified

Ultimate load : similar to the concentrated loadtest, a load is applied over a 25mmx25mm steelindentor until the system collapses. The ultimateload should be a minimum of 3 times the con-centrated load

Rolling Load : A load Rolled Bach and forth across thepanel which is applied through 3 different size whell.Deflection is measured after 10, 10,000 and40.000 continuous cycles

Uniform Load : A load is applied over a 1m x1 m area with the deflection of the panel notexceeding 2.5 mm for the uniform loadspecified

High Pressure LaminateOur product is finished with a high pressure lami-nate that is used in 90% of computer room applicationsand is by far the most widely used for all applications.The laminate is solid tile 600mm x 600mm and unlikevinyl provides a uniform finish with no joints. HPL hasthe advantage of not requiring wax or maintenancethat could create static.
