Bend, Oregon real estate company’s annual calendar features photo of Deschutes River
Bend, OR, December 13, 2010 -- Brooks Resources Corporation today announced thatits 2011 wall calendar will be available to the public starting today. The cale
ndar, which has been a Central Oregon community tradition for more than 30 years, features the photo, “Flowing into Fall” by Bruce Jackson of the Deschutes River near Lava Island.
Bruce Jackson, a resident of Bend, Oregon for 30 years, is a photographic artistwhose travels take him to America
s most beautiful and evocative landscapes.Hismasterful orchestration of composition, color and light creates images of purity, grace and beauty that embody the true spirit ofNature. Through his work, he extends to an invitation to experience the poetry of place, and to carry that compassion and serenity into daily lives.
The calendar is being distributed to local businesses by non-profit group CORIL
(Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living) in exchange for a donation from Bend, Oregon real estate company Brooks Resources.
“CORIL is an organization that meets many needs in our community,” says Valerie Yost, marketing manager for Brooks Resources. “We feel fortunate to support their mission and are pleased with the friendly manner in which they represent our companywhile distributing our calendars. It’s a positive experience for both organizations.”
Individuals are welcome to visit the Brooks Resources corporate office in downtown Bend, Oregon to pick up a calendar for free. Brooks Resources is located at 409 NW Franklin in downtown Bend and will be open to distribute the calendars from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all business days (closed the week of Christmas). Call 541-
