1. KEY CLUB WEEK
•Key Club week will be February 2nd-6th, and will culminate in the District Eliminathon on February 8th
• #Elimin8 - Throughout the week, Key Clubbers can take to twitter and post pictures of their success with the #Eliminate and #NJKeyClub hashtag. The District Board will be tracking all posts and selecting a winner at the end of the week - they will receive a small prize!
•Monday: Eliminate Hands - These can be sold throughout the entire week, but the start date for selling is Monday, February 2nd. The flyers/hands will be emailed to your club sometime over the next few days.
•Tuesday: Silent to Save - On this day, stay silent for the day in order to raise awareness for the Eliminate Project. If you are interested in the specifics of how to run this event, I can provide you with a helpful guideline.
•Wednesday: Educate for Eliminate - If you have a Key Club meeting or event, you can bring a friend and show them what it is that you do at Key Club! If there is not an event, you can simply post up flyers and educate nonmembers on our organization and what we stand for.
•Thursday: Last Day for #Elimin8 - On Thursday, all final #Elimin8 posts should be uploaded.
•Friday: Paint the Town Blue - Go all out in blue and gold (Key Club colors); wear any Key Club gear that you have.

DISTRICT ELIMINATHON: THE FINAL SHOWDOWN
The District Eliminathon, the statewide volleyball tournament, will take place
on February 8th from 5-9 P.M. at Arthur L. Johnson High School! The winning team from every division's Eliminathon will be competing
for the top place, so this will be a huge event. Even if you are not the winning team
from our Division's Eliminathon that was held November 20th, you should still come to the
event! There will be food, plenty of volleyball to watch (you can relax!), and you can see the
New Jersey District Board compete against the Kiwanis Committee. Spectators can participate
in raffles, games, and additional activities. Admission is only $5 for a fun-filled
day.

Jan. Board Recap As chair of the workshops committee, I had a lot of work to do to finalize the DCON workshops. I also took charge of the Quidditch tournament to be held on Friday Mar. 27th as Key Clubbers arrive. The rest of the NJDB discussed their newly elected LTGs to replace us all at District Convention. It’s so close to the end, but we have so much more work to do, so stay tuned for more updates!
