GENERAL NOTES Situation Hurds Farm lies only 1 ½ miles from the centre of Abbots Bromley and adjoins the B5014 Abbots Bromley/Lichfield Road. From the centre of Abbots Bromley pick up the B5014 towards Lichfield and Blithbury and after 1 mile take the second left (by the gravel heaps) and turn left into Pinfold Lane. The farm lies first on the right after approximately 400 yards. From Lichfield and the A515 travel to Seedy Mill and turn left towards Armitage and travel through Hill Ridware towards Blithbury and Abbots Bromley on the B5014. After passing the Bull and Spectacles Public House on the right at Blithbury travel down the bank and over the river Blithe and take the first lane on the right (adjoining the gravel heaps) into Pinfold Lane. The farm lies on the right after approximately 400 yards.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

FOREWORD

This genuine dispersal sale at Hurds Farm arises as a result of a complete change in policy at Abbots Bromley and many locals will know that Mr Henry Hill has already sold all the cattle from the farm. For many years a very successful dairy and arable enterprise has been undertaken on 3 units at Bromley Hurst and the total re-alignment of the business results in a sale of both old engineering and items belonging to the late Philip Hill together with some excellent modern machinery from the recently dispersed cattle enterprise. The stars of the show include the Opico Mobile Gas Dryer which has undertaken very little work together with a superb Ifor Williams Livestock Trailer which is virtually unused and the John Deere Tractors and JCB telehandler. Purchaser should note that the telehandler has undertaken under 1700 hours and has been owned from new. There are several included items from local sundry vendors and purchasers should attend and bid at the many and varied lots at this sale.
