We are delighted to announce that Brockwell Lido has reached the semi-finals of The National Lottery Awards! These awards recognise the difference that Lottery-funded projects like ours have made to people, places and communities all across the UK. Your Lido’s Art Deco buildings have been sensitively brought into the 21st Century and been given a new lease of life with additional sport, education and wellbeing programmes, restoring a real community hub. Working in partnership with Fusion, a registered charity, and with strong community involvement, the Lido’s future has been secured – at no cost to the taxpayer. Should the Lido win the Award, the £2,000 prize money will be used to extend the schools education programme, making swimming and water safety accessible to more local children.
