The Wait
We all know waiting in the doctors office can take a while and we all know its
boring. Today we are going to look at new ways to make the wait more fun!
Wednesday, September 25, 13
How can it be made fun?
The doctors office attempts to stave off boredom with a TV usually on a home improvement or cooking channel. That doesn’t really work.
We could add games to the doctors office!
We could have Trivia!
The waiting room could be more interactive!

We could add games!
We could put some sort of multiplayer video game into the doctors office. The problem would be not everyone will want to play or even have to hear the games. You may even
have people argue over who’s turn it is.Photo Credit: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/55046645@N00/350937487/">practicalowl</a> via <a href="http://compfight.com">Compfight</a> <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/">cc</a>

What about trivia?Trivia might work right? Here we have
another problem. Most people in the doctors office do not feel good and probably don’t want to speak up. Others may not be able to handle loud noises depending on
whats ailing them.Photo Credit: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/7991496@N05/2189803492/">Deborah Leigh (Migraine Chick)</a> via <a href="http://compfight.com">Compfight</a> <a href="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.0/">cc</a>

Interactive Trivia Games
Games are a great idea, but not by them selves.
Trivia is an even better idea, but most people won’t participate.
A trivia Game that you can play at your chair. Now we are on to something!
Wednesday, September 25, 13
We could make chairs with hand held devices that the patient will use the to sign
into the doctors office. The patient can then choose to play a game of trivia
questions. The devices will ask question from a number of categories that the
patient chooses. When the patient gets called back to see the doctor they place
the device back into the chair and it sends their score to the office clerks. When the
patient is on the way out they receive their scores and can get a small prize such as a piece of candy or other neat little things
like when we were kids. The patient leaves content without having been bored and possibly also a little wiser and with a
cool prize just for sitting and playing a game.
