The reality
In recent years, Copenhagen has seen an increase in the number of vulnerable EU migrants who have no job, no CPR number and no residence. If you find yourself in this situation but want to find an adequate job and integrate properly into Danish society, then we can help! •
What we offer
The Extra Mile project serves as a job guidance and information point to vulnerable EU migrants living in the streets of Copenhagen. We can help you with: • Legal advice • Personal job mentoring • Motivational job-search workshops and trainings
Life gets better It is our mission to guide vulnerable migrants in their quest towards finding a job and thus becoming a part of the Danish society. With our one-on-one mentoring, we will discover the skills and competencies you have to help you find the right job and create a proper CV and job application. Through our legal advice, we will inform you of the rights and obligations you possess while in Denmark. Our job-search workshops will improve your understanding of the Danish job market and advise you how to interact with Danish employers. Also, it is a means to improve your English and gain basic knowledge of Danish language.

Our mentorsWe provide an environment empowered by respect, diversity and compassion. Our volunteer mentors are people with diverse cultural, academic and work backgrounds- all of which work together to put themselves in YOUR shoes.
