SES new generation controller has been designed to provide a high ! exibility

in the monitoring and operation of any VMS of the SES range

(LCS, Visio, Luminance, Optima).

It is available in 2 variants :

either as a control board (named SCU3)

or as a user-friendly touch-screen controller (named SCU6).

Control of the VMS in local mode and remotely from a control software Complete management of messages thanks to a library and prede" ned scenario Fault management and reporting Management of the display after communication or power failure Interface for a quick maintenance diagnostic

Performance: The latest generation components have been carefully selected

for their increased memory and processor rates.

User-friendly : The maintenance menu is accessible either through the intuitive touch-screen on the SCU6,

or by connecting a laptop to the SCU3. USB port: download and upload con" gurations and log " les.

Versatility: LCR and NTCIP 1203 protocols are available for remote communication

Open system: Several ports of communication (Ethernet, RS485, RS232, I/O…)

Mobility: crypted WiFi access to work in a protected communication environment.

Web Server is a web application which o# ers a simple access, to monitor any of the SES VMS from any device

(laptop or tablet or smartphone), with a simple Internet connection.

Grid powered VMS

Pixels are organized in a matrix to make a character.

These characters form lines and matrix areas in amber,

white or red colour.

Several display styles are available: Fixed messages Flashing messages Scrolling messages Alternating two messages

SES designed three di# erent sizes of matrix graphic

area in order to harmonize display of graphics and

lines. The graphic area can be red, amber or white.

A line matrix can be added to complete graphics visual

impact.

In order to enhance your message, 2 or 4 ! ashers can

be integrated into the contrast borders, on each side, at

the end of the top and bottom line for instance.

Performance and Power Consumption were at the heart of Luminance concept.

Low energy consumption: This VMS is energy-e& cient thanks to better and wider optical characteristics, and optimization of electronic components.

Thanks to its innovative technology, it can save up to 48% energy in comparison with previous generation of VMS*.

Low and easy maintenance: No need for speci" c tools to maintain replaceable items Luminance is equipped with our touch screen VMS controller for

an immediate and simple diagnosis. The reliability of the whole

system allows reaching a very high MTBF.

Display of any language: Luminance can display any language like Arabic, Russian,

and Chinese …

Large range of colours:The following colours available are: White Amber Green/Red/Blue Full Colour (RGB)

A lightweight and slim design: The innovative design of the housing makes it highly resistant to

environmental constraints, but incredibly slim and lightweight.

High operating temperature range Luminance can operate from -40°C to +85°C.

*Performance given for a VMS with 3lines of 15 characters, with a pictogram of 64x64 +

a line under pictogram.

The energy unit includes the batteries that

store the energy created by the solar panels. It

is buried in order to reduce the thermal impact

on batteries and to ensure the best e& ciency.

The solar regulation device is also located

in the energy unit as well as the system that

monitors in real time the energy management.

OPTIMA™ is a range of 100% solar-powered VMS dedicated to roads

and highways, with a large choice of sizes and housing types.

Full time, everywhere

The bene" ts of a solar powered DMS:

24 hours of service, 365 days per year: OPTIMA™ solar power system is designed to guaranty full time operation.

The sizes of the solar panels and batteries are adapted for each application.

As OPTIMA™ is not connected to the grid, it is free of electricity charges.

Installation wherever needed OPTIMA™ can be installed anywhere. Remote highways or location where power is not available can now be

equipped with VMS.

SES introduces Visio: the solution to inform road users in real time on ring roads or urban areas with:

A perfect legibility wherever the sign is installed (round about, access road, bends…) A complete integration into urban facilities An aesthetic design with curved lines, compact dimensions make Visio installation easy in urban areas.

All models of Visio range are compliant to EN12966 and NEMA TS4 standards.

Urban and arterial road VMS

All electronic components (display boards, ! ashers, temperature and light sensors…)

are linked on the same RS485 data bus.

The integration of electronic components: Simpli" es maintenance due to a continuous auto diagnosis of components, Increases reliability of electronics as there are fewer connexions. Controlled by SCU3/SCU6.
