PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONThe Master of Information Technology at Atlantis University is an intensive graduate degree program designed to prepare the graduate to assume a senior staff or manage-ment position in the information technology field, and to ultimately become an Informa-tion Technology Professional. Where the un-dergraduate program readies the graduate to become a programmer-analyst, telecommu-nication administrator, or apprentice database administrator, the Master Degree Program pre-pares the graduate to manage such a group of IT professionals. The student is capacitated to evaluate, elect and develop vanguard in-formation technology systems that are of the greatest convenience for his/her business. The student is enabled to administrate the implan-tation, development and maintenance of the information and system services, managing the security of the information to give solution to the problems of the organization.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVEUpon completion of the Master of Informa-tion Technology Degree Program, students are prepared for executive positions in the field of Information Technology Management. This Master Degree aims to provide training in cutting edge information technology for IT professionals wishing to upgrade their qualifi-cations and/or skills. Students learn different means for developing a corporate strategy, with a special emphasis on the work of various recognized strategists in the business and IT fields.
Global E-Business Strategies

Students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to learn the importance of data and information in todays digital world and the processes to protect it.
Information Security Management
To make better database management decisions, students learn to design and implement rational databases with web access for database-driven web applications.
Advanced Database Management
Students learn about the aspects of programming and concentrate on directing the software development process

Delivery Method
Program length: 5 semesters of 16 weeks.
Schedule
1. Complete Enrollment Agreement for the Master Degree program.
2. Have a personal interview with an AU graduate admissions officer, over the phone or at AU campus.
3. Submit resume indicating education and complete work history.
4. One letter of recommendation for acceptance into the program.
5. Hold a four-year Bachelors Degree or equivalent credential conferred by an institution of
postsecondary education and provide college transcripts.
