Baldu LabourdonnaisIf any event is worthy of a brand new evening gown or slipping into a tuxedo, it’s the annual Bal du Labourdonnais; quite simply the most elegant evening in the Labourdonnais social calendar. As from 20h00, the red carpet welcomes you to live piano music and the sparkle of champagne. The tables are bedecked in gold and ivory, with the romantic glow of candles. Be sure to save your appetite for the superb 7-course feast prepared by Executive Chef Nizam Peeroo. After dinner, 70s and 80s dance music will lure you onto the dance floor. Watch the night sky come alive at midnight with a dazzling fireworks display.With dancing till 2am, why not make a night of it? A double room for two persons plus breakfast is just Rs 5,000 (Mauritian residents only).

Price: Rs 3,300 inc.vat for a 7-course gourmet menu including a glass of champagne upon arrival.

The décor theme is stylish, clean and classical white. On The Rocks Lounge Bar will open the evening as from 20h00 with appetizers. Dinner is a special 6-course feast prepared by Executive Chef Nizam Peeroo. Dance the night away to the best of the 80’s.2013 is welcomed in at midnight with an exhilarating display of fireworks. Glitz &Glam

Vintage Hollywood comes alive at the Glitz and Glam party; ladies in glamorous frocks, gents in dashing tuxedos. The ambience promises to be glamorous and glitzy, featuring lots of rhinestones and glitter, dated in 30s Art Deco as a tribute to the early days of the movies. The script goes something like this: Guests arrive as from 20h00 on the red carpet where appetizers are served followed by a sumptuous 6-course “Oscar” dinner at Grain d’Sel or a buffet at Ebony Ballroom and be treated like a hollywood royalty. Then fade in irresistible hits from the 80’s. Around midnight, comes the climax of the show: a thrilling fireworks display, then the credits roll as you dance till 3am. Why not sleep it all off. A double room for two persons including breakfast is just Rs 3,000.(Mauritian residents only).
