The summer of 2016 will be dominated by the City Beach Tour. The City Beach Tour 2016 will start in May, we close the season in September. In recent years the City Beach Tour has developed into a sand fes7val that is mostly set in the city center or on another unique loca7on. Fun for kids, (top)sport on the sand, music, theatre, food and drinks. All this for the whole family. Watch and par7cipate, taste and eat, listen and sing along. It's all possible at the some7mes iconic spots in ci7es. This brochure outlines the atmosphere of the City Beach Tour in the Netherlands, as well as the different possibili7es in the field of sponsorship and hospitality.

De City Beach Tour originated in 1996. It started with a beach volleyball court, 4 players and a ball. This demonstra7on beach volleyball tour was the precursor to the City Beach Tour. In 2016 the City Beach Tour is a full sand fes7val where (top) beach volleyball is ' just' a part of the fes7val. Sports on the sand, music, theatre, food and drinks make this sand fes7val in the city center into a unique concept for everyone, from young to old.

Beach volleyball
The most popular beach sports in the Netherlands. Netherlands took the silver medal in 2015 at the World Cup in their own country.
Footvolley
Considered by many to be the most spectacular beach sport. Netherlands took the bronze medal in the 2015 World Cup in Nice.
Beach tennis
Beach tennis was born in America and Brazil in the 1970s. Spain and Italy were the first countries where the sport became popular. A growing sport in the Netherlands.
Beach soccer
One of the oldest beach sports in the Netherlands. This sport is played by 5000 players on a regular basis.
Beach handball
A beach sport which is incredibly popular in the Nordic countries and Germany. In the Netherlands the sport growing in addi7on to handball.
Beach rugby
A small beach sport that is played primarily in the summer months in the Netherlands.
Music
Saturday night is filled with na7onal and regional bands.
Children’s theatre
Friday is dedicated to the children. Theatre is a part of it.
Dance
Dance is a part of the City Beach Tour.
Food
Sunday is dedicated to food and drinks.

In 2016 the City Beach Tour 3.0 is an enBrely new concept to be experienced in the ciBes. The 3.0 has a double meaning. We are the 3rd owner of this concept. The 1st owner worked out a concept around beach volleyball, the 2nd owner put forward beach soccer as the most important part. We would like to offer an overall concept. Fun for kids, (top)sport, culture, food and drinks. In addi7on, business will play a larger and more important role in the City Beach Tour.

The City Beach Tour is an event for the whole family. Children are an integral part of this. During the City Beach Tour children o`en have a central role. It starts with school sports on Friday where children get sport courses on the sand. During the Business Family Fun Day, the Daddies and Mummies get to network and the children are entertained with sports, abrac7ons and children's theatre. On Saturday during the top sport day the children enjoy sport clinic's, climbing towers, air cushions and a special kids team for the lible ones. On Sunday of course they can grab a bite to eat during the food fes7val.
Visibilty
Prior to the City Beach Tour an ' atmosphere ‘ is created in the ci7es. This through physical visibility in the city and the digital world.

For a greater experience of the City Beach Tour social media and live streaming will provide more aben7on and moments of contact.

In the recent years we had a.o. Slam FM, de Telegraaf, Dichtbij and Allsports Radio as media partners. This mainly in the form of commercials, event repor7ng and newspaper ar7cles.
The City Beach Tour is 20 years in 2016! This unique fesBval is an ideal pla^orm for companies to get naBonal and internaBonal exposure. Sponsoring Companies can register as 'sponsor' or 'supplier' of the fes7val. As a partner, companies can profile themselves before, during and a`er the loca7ons, through visibility and specific campaigns. Hospitality During the City Beach Tour the sponsors, VIPS and guests will lack nothing. The VIP bus is equipped with all comforts and luxuries. On the loca7ons there will be promo7onal tents of 4 x 3.5 m to present your brands and/or products during the day. In the evenings these tents serve as business lounges.
