Overview: A spectacularly rich experience in the Andean mountains and Inca culture awaits you! 4 days of trekking, 50 kilometers through the heart of the Andes, the only trek to take you along the original Inca Trail, an authentic hand-built stone footpath where you will walk in the footsteps of ancient Inca royalty and enter Machu Picchu through the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) at sunrise for awe-inspiring views as the ancient Incas did a thousand years ago. Climb from 2,380 meters to 4,210 meters at Dead Woman's Pass, then pass through unforgettably beautiful jungle scenery and hidden labyrinth-style ruins to reach the most spectacular Inca archaeological site in South America at sunrise.

Day 1: Hostel pick-up and transfer to Ollantaytambo for a quick breakfast. The bus will take you to KM 82, the entrance to the Inca Trail, where you will hike 11 kilometers (6 hours) ending the day at Wayllabamba camp (altitude: 2,980m).

Day 2: Today will be a tough 10 kilometer hike (5 hours constant uphill, 2 hours constant downhill) ascending over 1,000 meters to reach Dead Woman's Pass (altitude: 4,215m) followed by an immediate descent through a beautiful valley to Pacaymayo Camp (altitude: 3,660m) where you will camp next to relaxing waterfalls.

Day 3: An unforgettable day hiking 14 kilometers (8 hour duration) to reach Wiñayhuayna High Jungle Camp (altitude: 2,700m). Hike 2 hours uphill to Runquracay pass for breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and then 7 hours along rolling hills stopping at archaeological sites tucked into the mountainside.

Day 4: An early start at 4:00 am will get you to Inti Punku (the original Inca sun gate) as the sun is rising over the majestic Machu Picchu ruins. (7 kilometers; 2 hours) Take a guided tour of Machu Picchu with a professional English-speaking guide and enjoy free time to explore the ruins, truly a once-in-a-lifetime unforgettable experience. Take the return train back to Ollantaytambo, bus to Cuzco and hotel drop o�.

Overview: This 4 day heart stopping adventure is the perfect combination of an adrenaline pumping 3,000 meter mountain biking descent followed by trekking into the backwoods of the Andes and passing through local villages to see the way of life in mountain communities such as Santa Teresa and Santa Maria. The ultimate ending to an excellent trip is the one and only Machu Picchu archaeological site.

Day 1: Hostel pick-up and transfer to the Malaga High Pass (altitude: 4,350 meters) for a safety brie�ng before our adventurous 3,000 meter descent on mountain bikes into the lush and humid jungle arriving at Santa Maria village (1,500m) for our overnight stay in a hostel.

Day 2: Trek through the jungle mountains to observe beautiful pristine landscapes, abundant �ora and fauna and friendly local people. In the afternoon we reach Santa Teresa village (1,680 meters) where we still stay overnight in a hostel.

Day 3: Today we will hike for about 4-6 hours to reach the train tracks and continue to Aguas Calientes town where we will have free time to relax our sore bodies in the hot springs for a well deserved bath.

Day 4: An early start will take us to the world

famous Machu Picchu archaeological site where

we will discover the site with an English speaking

guide and have free time to walk to Inti Punku or

climb Wayna Picchu. Return to Aguas Calientes for

your afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo, bus to
