Acres Supercrop 1 – a better wilting system...

The demand for innovation in Agriculture is a constant challenge for us. Farmers worldwide are faced with many challenges with saving crops of hay and silage. Getting the correct DM (dry matter) content for good animal digestibility is not always achievable. Unpredictable weather - Time - Machinery - Quality - Costs, these are all critical factors when producing quality fodder. Acres have developed the Supercrop 1, a system focused on the wilting process -“ the most important part of achieving a quality fodder”. A machine that will reduce your time and costs substanialy while helping increase the nutritional value from your crop. Supercrop 1 will eliminate the need for 3 seperate machines - the rake, conditioner and tedder - that’s three machines into one machine! This really efficient system brings real benefits to the crop wilting process, which amounts to on average 30% lower operating costs. And… it’s the most compact machine of it’s kind in the World. It’s superior flexability means it can change function in the field instantly to adapt to the current weather and crop conditions. It will condition and rake in just 1 pass leaving perfectly formed, up to 20 foot, swathes for baling. It’s really helping improve the quality of your feeds and end line profitability.

It is long proven by many professional researchers that by following certain criteria, depending on weather, that you can achieve the optimum Dry Matter and quality from your crop. Conditioning your crop will greatly reduce the drying time. Also after periods of heavy rain it will help recover the crop. Acres have focused on the crop conditioning element and have been building crop Conditioners for a number of years now. The result is Supercrop1, it’s not just a machine, it’s a system.

Heavy duty gearbox and drives. 1 inch chain drive with self oiler chain lubrication system - Easy access. High durability bearings. The drive train is equipped with both over run PTO and shear bolt to avoid any damage from overloading of the system.

Chassis Frame

The gear driven twin rotor tedder attachment allows for spreading out the crop to dry. Mounted on the main frame, the multi-position adjustable tedder can be raised or lowered into position hydrauli-cally. The ON/OFF gearbox can be engaged independanly of the main rotor.

Raking

Ground Float System

Option of belt driven or mechanical driven type rakes depending on application. Rakes sit on 2 castor wheels to provide excellent ground travel during operation. The rakes are designed to work independently in order to manage most swath sizes. 3 way folding system ensures compact, neat and safe folding on the main frame when not in use.

The rakes have a 3 axis ground float system to deal with the roughest of ground conditions. This along with the drum float ensure smooth clean raking and conditioning in rough terrain. The spring loaded design absorbs any sudden impact. The rakes follow the contours of the field leaving a clean raking finish.

Rear swath deflectors

Fully adjustable rear swath gates and horizontal deflector to form the perfect swathes for ease of picking by balers & harvestors.

Drive Train System

Equipment

Heavy duty frame construction running on LGP wheels. The frame is designed as a modular system allowing the customer the choice of adding various attachments to the machine.

CROP DATA CONTROL SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)

Monitor vital crop data in the field to achieve productivity and nutritional data. Equipment includes moisture content reading, data controller and monitor or ISOBUS compatibility.

Conditioner Rotor & Drum

A carefully designed heavy duty rotor, galvanised and engineered to deal with the toughest of crop conditions leaving a perfect aerated swath. The rotor drum can be adjust-ed to required ground clearance for different crop types and free floats with the ground contours on front castor wheels. The machines unuique twin lift ensures speedy lifting and crop swathes clearance.

Hydraulic System – (Tractor Supply or optional independent system)

Standard machine equipped with cable/elec-tro (12 volt) controlled valves. Optional Independent hydraulic system for rakes.
