Broadway and the fifth avenue

1) The 5 th avenue The fifth avenue is a very famous street in New York city in the district of Manhattan like champs Elysées in Paris. In the street there are Chanel, Tiffany& Co, Hermès, Prada, Dior and Hugo Boss so a lot of famous and rich stores. Also there is a catwalks like the twenty-eight of june 1917 : march against the racism and the annual parade of the feast St Patrick. The street start to Washington and it finish Harlem. In this street there is a very famous Empire State Building it measures 381 meters, Actualy is tallest building of New York because on the eleventh of september in 2001 there was a terrorist attacked, and there is a famous Public Library.

2) Broadway Broadway is an street in Manhattan. There are many time parade and catwalk. Broadway is very famous for his musical comedy and his theatre. There are forty theatre in Broadway. The shows are often burlesque and eccentricities. Broadway production and artists are honored by the annual Antoinette Perry Awards (called the « Tony Awards », or « Tony ») wich are given by the American theatre Wing and the Broadway League, beginning in 1947.
