Eircom Broadband, Customer Service
“In just over one month my one year contract with Eircom Broadband will be
up and I would like to cancel at that point. I have looked everywhere for a
clear procedure to go about doing this but there is none!! I have emailed
[email protected] giving my one months's notice - no response, I
have emailed [email protected] who just said to ring 1800 503
303. I rang 1800 503 303 and they said I am ringing too early and just wait
until 10 days before the cutoff date and ring back then.”

Opinions and Complaints
BT Broadband
“I’ve been with BT for 18 months… about a month ago they increased myspeed and lifted the cap. I’d never gone over the cap anyway so it wasn’t anyreal bonus. The speed increase was though. Three days ago BT Ireland decided to restrict my broadband speed to 10k persecond citing their ‘Fair Usage’ policy. There was no warning, no call, noemail.. They use outsourced Indian support which having used this before I have tosay…it really stinks to high heaven…If you are thinking of broadband and are anovice then remember this… as you’ll find yourself saying ’sorry can you repeatthat ” incessantly during a support call….the support person is ONLY interestedin getting you off the phone and chalking up another resolved issue (wheterits resolved or not)…”
Mickelodian, Mulley.net
Irish Broadband
“I contacted them by email to set me up an email account with them so I could
use Outlook. From start to finish this took 20 days.”
Niall T, AskaboutMoney.com
“Irish Broadband is simply useless. Their support team are so condescending,
unhelpful, rude and painfully ignorant its not funny, even Eircom’s support is
better than Irish Broadband’s and that’s saying something.”
WindyBee, Boards.ie
