MEETINGS The Society meets on the FIRST NON Bank Holiday Wednesday in each month
at the Llandudno Junction Community Club at 20:00.
The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING takes place at the OCTOBER meeting,
when the Officers for the coming year are appointed and the official business of
the Club is conducted.
The subscriptions are due in October at £7.00. Members who do not renew by the
December meeting will have their names removed from the register at the end of
December and will be charged a re-joining fee of £10.
The Club is affiliated and Insured with the BMF and has to declare its
membership before the end of December.
MINUTES OF MEETINGS
The Secretary will record the minutes of the meetings.
RAFFLE
A Raffle is held at each meeting with motor cycle book related prizes and sundry
items. Funds raised go towards Club supporting Club events.

THE AIMS OF THE SOCIETY
A non- profit making Organisation.
To promote interest in and encourage the preservation of BRITISH
Motorcycles.
To supply advice and give guidance to Members on British Motorcycles.
To raise funds through subscriptions, donations, jumbles and shows to
support the aims of the Society
Arrange meetings, exhibitions lectures etc.,
Obtain spares, funds permitting for use or resale to members
Maintain a library of manuals handbooks etc.
To be affiliate to anybody whose interests and promotions are in accordance
with the SOCIETY
EVENTS FOR 2020
Show/Jumble entries and information can be obtained from the organisers by
telephone or from the websites below. Some Organisers will send details of their
event through to the Club. These details will be made available at the Club
meetings.

SPARES The Club has a small but varied supply of increasingly rare spares which are replenished
from time to time as the opportunity arises,
The Chairman should be the first contact for parts or as to the source of rare spares or
specialist information.
CLUB TOOLS
The SOCIETY also has a small selection of specialist tools and these are available on short
term loan to Club Members
Various specialist spanners, Allan keys, pipe cutters
Extractors,2/3 legged pullers, clutch, flywheel, cam extractors.
Some special tools for BSA, Arial, AJS, Lambertta, Montessa, NSU, PUCH and
Honda specific

ANNUAL MOTORCYCLE JUMBLE
An annual motorcycle jumble sale will be held at Mochdre Village Hall in March to raise
funds to support the Club events. A charge will be made for the seller’s space and for
entering the jumble. A hire charge is payable to the Village Hall committee and for the
services it provides.

British Motorcycle Preservation Society Shows 2019
Glyndywrfry near Corwen
Once again we held a very successful Classic Bike Show at Glyndywrfry near Corwen in association with
the Llangollen Railway Society Classic Transport Weekend. We are very greatful for their support at this
event. The weather was again very good, plenty of parking space and camping facilities if required.
Some100 British Bikes 1907 – 1976 attended over the 2 days and many (200+) visited over the weekend.
We had a number of jumble stalls
selling motorcycle parts. Bike owners
displaying a bike were given a pass to
travel by train to Llangollen ...and
back!!!
Thanks to Peter Fogg, Len and Lin
Ferneyhough for their support and
enthusiasm in organising and setting
up this event. Thanks also to other
members for their help. It again was
an excellent promotional opportunity
for our Club.
North Shore Llandudno
This was our second year at North Shore Llandudno and again it was very successful. The event was
supported by Blind Veterans UK based at Llandudno and donations were collected and made to their
Charity. Billy Baxter from the Blind Veteran’s did a very from the heart presentation on his life’s
experiences from being in the Army and The Fastest Blind Man on a bike
100 plus bikes attended – some very interesting models
This event is building in interest with a number of Motorcycle Clubs making it a “must do” venue to attend
or Ride Out to. It has ample parking facilities and it is within a short walking distance to the centre of
Llandudno – the Queen of Welsh resorts.
Thanks to all who supported this event.The Club is very grateful for all the efforts that John Dean and his
wife put into organising this Show. He would also like to thank those who supported him and assisted to
ensure everything ran smoothly.
