Job Description Job title Admin Assistant Team Business Support – London Band 7 Reporting to EA to CEO & Business Support Team Line Manager Management responsibility None Purpose of the job To provide admin support to a group of directors and work closely with the Receptionist to provide reception cover during holiday, sickness, lunchtime and other absences. Also assist with the general running of the office, and other general admin and junior PA duties across the wider teams. Main duties Reception Duties Organising meetings/diary management Typing and copying documents Arranging travel and accommodation Booking and arranging meeting rooms General PA and administration duties Knowledge and experience Typing skills General IT and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good customer service skills Knowledge of office administration processes Admin and some PA experience Internal and external stakeholders Senior Management Team Business Support Team British Business Bank Board, including Non-Executive Directors (NED’s) The wider British Business Bank and SULCo colleagues PA’s in other Government Organisations Budgets / fund size / scope of investments Management responsibility if appropriate You will join a small Business Support Team which comprises of 4 PA’s and 1 Receptionist. Key competencies/behaviours Proactive and initiative driven Friendly and `can do` attitude Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping attention to details Good written English Qualifications Required for the role Minimum of 4 GCSE’s, or equivalent, including English.
