Briscoe Primary School & Nursery www.hearts-briscoe.uk Friday 13th December 2019 Attendance Dear Parents and Carers We have had a very special visitor in school today and excitement has been in the air! Santa knew all about how hard the children have worked this year and was happy to reward them with a gift. He was also lucky enough to see lots of their families and friends at the school bazaar this afternoon - which again, was a huge success! It was lovely to see so many of you there, supporting us at this special time of year. A big ‘Thank You’ must go to our PTA who organised this year’s event and to the staff who give up their time to make it such a success. Well done to our Reception children this week for displaying our school values of Service, Respect and Happiness when visiting the residents of Poplar House. We delighted them with our singing and they were over the moon with the pictures and biscuits we presented to them. We look forward to seeing them all again soon. Our KS 1 children delighted us all with their Christmas performance on Thursday and despite having some technical issues, gave us all a treat with their superb singing and acting! We loved it and are looking forward to watching Reception and KS2 next week! Only 3 days to go! School will break up at the usual time on Wednesday 18th December. Have a lovely weekend.
