The orientation day program saw the participation of several students. The classes were

held regularly and two students of 5TH Semester electrical namely Garvit and Amit did us

proud by their advancement in the third round of all India level competition ,”Hybrid Ve-

hicle Championship’, organized by ISIE India,. Our best wishes to both of them.

Hindu College of Engineering, Sonepat, Haryana According to "New India Manthan" has

organized pledge ceremony in our college premises on 10th August,2017 for all Faculty

members, Non-Teaching staff and students of our college. The "Quit India Movement Quiz

Competition" also organized in college premises on 11th August,2017 with maximum

participation from students and staff.

TENTH WORLD EDUCATION SUMMIT , AUGUST 2017 NEW DELHI

Our Worthy Director-Principal Prof.(Dr.)K.K.Saini felicitated with prestigious "India's

Top Higher Education Leadership Award" for his exemplary role in higher education on

12th August 2017 in Le Meridien,New Delhi on 10th world Education summit and also

participated as a Key Speaker in Higher Education session.

M.Tech Thesis dissertation viva was held in the department. Dr. Parvinder Singh ,

Chairman CSED DCRUST, Murthal was appointed as external examiner . Dr.

Parvinder wishes good luck to the students for their upcoming future. University has

declared the even semester result . CSE/IT department students has good pass percent-

age.

Independence Day was celebrated in the college premises on 15th August, 2017. Director–Principal

Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Saini unfurled the National Flag and the National Anthem was recited. It was followed by

Departmental and cultural activities. Director –Principal Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Saini in his speech commemorat-

ed all those great people who had scarified their lives and loved ones in making India an Independent coun-

try. The program was coordinated by Ms. Anjali Bajaj and team.

Student orientation is the beginning of academic year for the new student which is held to

orient and welcome the new student. The orientation program was organized in our college

on 19th August ,2017 .The program begin with the auspicious Hawan ceremony and Saraswati

Puja .It was whole heartedly attended by honorable chairman of Hindu charitable and

educational society Shri Arun Aggarwal ji and Director-Principals from various institutes of

our sister concerns. During the orientation program Worthy Director–Principal familiarized

the incoming students with the institution’s facilities , norms and cultures .The honorable

Chairman Shri Arun Aggarwal ji motivated the entrants to be knowledgeable and skilled

professionals. The program was coordinated by Ms. Anjali Bajaj and team.
