The name I have chosen for the exhibition is ‘Hue’ which I thoughtcommunicated the subject in a clear and concise manner. The three letters of the name accompanied by three em dashes form the core of the identity I have produced.

Develop a strong, graphic identity for a colour exhibition to be held at Leeds Art Gallery and subsequently use it to create a range of printed promotional material to publicise it.

guides, 3 different invitations and 3 different tickets. The exhibition guides are made up of coloured covers and then a concertina inner-booklet. The em dashes have been used to separate the information contained within.

The invitations have been designed to send out to selected guests for the opening night of the exhibition and they follow a similar form to the exhibition guides. The coloured outer envelope folds from a single A4 sheet and conceals the white A5 invitation

The theme of 3 worked perfectly when creating tickets for the exhibition as the colours could be applied to represent the different categories of adults, children and concessions. Furthermore the printed material takes on an extra dimension

for the guide booklet, 1 for the invitation and 1 for the ticket)A small range of interior signage has also been designed using colours from the posters. Appropriate colours have been used to designate toliets and green arrows are used for directions.

3 posters and 3 hanging banners have also been designed to promote the event. These were initially produced first and the combinations of colours featured on them went on to provide the logic for the application of colour on other resolutions (1 used
