Bridger Bowl February 28-March 2, 2015

Invitation

The Bridger Ski Foundation’s Freestyle team, and Bridger Bowl invite you to participate in the Northern Division Freestyle Champs. The competition will consist of a Slopestyle competition a Moguls and Dual Mogul. The Slopestyle event will be in the big park on Sunny-side and the Mogul and Dual Mogul events will be ion Bronco Face.

Rules 1. The competitions shall be governed by the USSA Rules and Regulations for Freestyle Skiing 2. Rule 3055.3 In Dual moguls a competitor will be given one restart for entering the course before then start command is completed. 3. USSA license are required. 4. Registration is available only at mouse.org. Day of registration is subject to a $20/event late fee. Registration closes at 11:59pm on Wednesday the 25th of February. The Dual Mogul event will be seeded from the results of a one run Mogul event held in the morning before the Dual event.

General Information

Entries: Entry fees are $50 for each day of competitions. All fees are payable by cash, personal check, or online with a credit card. All participants MUST be prepared to pay by the aforementioned methods. In the event a competition is cancelled check the refund policy for Northern Division in the Competition Guide.

Registration: Registration check in will take place in the Jim Bridger Lodge under the TV.) TO register for this event you need to go online at myussa.org. Please register online if it is possible for you.

Lift Tickets: Lift tickets are available at Bridger Bowl Area with a reduced price competitor tickets. 13 and up are $43.00/day 7-12 years old is $18.00/day 0-6 is $0.00. Coaches tickets are available at a ratio of 5/1. Coaches must provide coaches name wedensday prior when submitting team registration intents.

Bibs: All competitors must wear their bibs during official training, competition and award ceremonies. A deposit of $20.00 per bib will be charged upon registration for those that do not have a bib.

Liability: All athletes are required to fill out and turn into prior to accessing any official training venue. Officials and other members of the National Association who attend and participate in the event do so at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, NDF, Bridger Ski Foundation Bridger Bowl and USSA shall not be held responsible for any risks, dangers and hazards as well as the possibility of personal injuries,death, damages to property or loss caused by or occurring during the event to athletes, officials and other related parties in conjunction with the organization or staging of the event.

Medical Insurance: Every competitor must have his-her own medical insurance.

Course review: A course review or riders meeting will be held at the finish area for the mogul events after training on Friday morning at 10:00 am at the start of the park for the slopestyle athletes. For the mogul athletes the course review will be in the finish area after training at 2:00 PM on Friday. The draw for slopestyle will be available at Registration check in on Friday Morning. The Moguls draw will be held in the Jim Bridger Lodge Friday at 4:30 pm and run orders will be distributed at that time.

Awards: Awards will be held immediately following competition each day at the competition venue. Awards will be presented to the top 3 men and women for each USSA age group for both days of competition.

*Freestyle Get Together. At 6:00 PM on Saturday night we are inviting all of the freestyle participants to get some pizza together at Tarantino’s pizza at 806 North 7th av.
