    The major problems are . Gambling ,prostitution , beggary , war withneighbouring countries

    Bribery is one of the most common andcontroversial issue that our country isfacing.

    Bribes are personal payments , gifts, orspecial factors granted improperly to

    influence the outcome of decision.Bribery is a universally condemned and nogovernment in world legally permitsbribery of its own officials.

    Bribers and recipients of bribery are likewisenumerous although bribers have onecommon denominator and that is thefinancial ability to bribe.

    staff.Patients pay to ensure quality care, to guaranteeaccess to hospital treatment, to skip waitinglists for operations or complicated diagnosticprocedures, even to get sick-leave certificatesfor their employers.

    It is a serious ethical issue of our societyIt also start from top level to bottom level

    The patient will get more care if they pay more. The cost of bribes depends on the treatment

    In government hospital medical professionals areunderpaid, patients may use bribery to solicitthe standard expected level of medical care.

    The government doctors are getting low salary.

    To overcome this problem the government allowthem to doing private practice in free time. This was for reducing the bribery, but human

    want and need are never ending, if they get onethe next aim to get the other one.

    So increasing salary never reduce the problem.

    Hospital employees would notchange the bed sheets inbetween patients, the nurseswould not give medicine orinjections if they do not getbribes.

    In the case collecting bribeswe see a unity among the

    hospital employeesHospital staff were also poorlypaid, so many patients gavethem a gratuity for theirservice. Sometimes this

    involved 'payment in kind' -like a bottle of good alcoholor a box of sweets.

    the bribery

    A 30 year old lady, says she dideverything necessary to ensurea healthy pregnancy .

    But she didnt gave any bribe toher gynecologist.

    At the date of delivery, hergynecologist didn't came attime. Twelve hours into labor,she was left alone in her roomfor an hour. When a doctorappeared, the umbilical cordwas wrapped twice around herbaby's head and had nearlysuffocated him. He was blindand deaf and had sufferedsevere brain damage.

    In private hospital also have briberyproblem more seriously than governmenthospital.

    Now the private hospital also act as abusiness unit, the main aim is makingprofit.

    Here the doctor not directly receive thebribe from the patient .

    Here the doctor was acting as a salesmanager and he have some target toattain.

    If they attain the target they reward by thehospital management.

    The hospital have lot of machinery, thedoctor prescribe the patient to take ascanning or ECG etc,

    Through this the patients bill amountincrease and the hospital

    profit also increase.

    Example;If a patient reach the hospital with throat pain due to cold

    but the doctor say he have some doubt about thatthroat pain.

    He prescribe some medicine and send him for some highcostly check ups like scanning etc

    He also admitted in the hospitalIf the doctor say like this way the patient afraid and take

    all the check ups, and he became a patient of seriousdisease.

    The doctor exploit the patient. Through this the hospital get earning by renting room,

    selling medicine , using machineries etc.

    The doctor get more bribe from thepharmaceutical companies or supplier of medical equipment more than from thepatient.

    There are so many medicine are availablefor a disease.

    The doctor is the only person who have theright to prescribe the medicine.

    The doctor prescribe only the medicine fromhe get more benefit.

    So the pharmaceutical companies givemoney or gift for prescribing their product.

    ConclusionBribery in hospital field seriously harmed the

    public interest.We cannot say all doctors take bribery but

    most of the doctors and hospital staff aredemanding bribes for their service.

    It is a serious problem faced in everydeveloping countries.
