Briarwood is a wonderful Church for many reasons, one of which is the opportunity to be taught accurately the Word of God. II Timothy 3:16–17 says, All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. Since 1989, I have been discipled by different faithful members and ministers of Briarwood. First as a non-believer, then as a new follower of Christ I have grown in

the Lord because of this equipping and training. II Peter 3:17–18 says, …take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One way we grow in this grace and knowledge is by taking advantage of what is available here at Briarwood. Please don’t miss out—if you haven’t been a part of a group recently, now would be a great time to get connected again.

Wednesday nights at Briarwood’s MidWeek, is an important part of the life of our church with many enjoying our Fellowship Dinner from 5:15–6:30 p.m. before branching off at 6:30 to participate in opportunities like choir; seminary; evangelism training; men’s, women’s, and co-ed Bible studies; and children and youth activities. MidWeek offers opportunities for every member of the family, so please go to briarwood.org/midweek or the Briarwood App to see the studies, make your dinner reservation and reserve a nursery spot. Also, with the fall comes the opportunity to join a Men or Women of the Covenant study. You can see these at briarwood.org/men and briarwood.org/women. Don’t miss out, and let’s encourage one another to grow in grace!
