WILL FERRELL’S BEER FESTIVAL OF CHOICE

Hey Brewer of Beer... It’s me, Will Ferrell.

I understand you want more information on Best Coast Beer Fest. If you’re interested in participating in the most amazing beer festival while helping out the single most important cause in recorded history, keep reading. If not, take a moment to throw your computer into the ocean.

Every ticket sold will support my favorite charity, Cancer For College, and helps a cancer survivor realize their dream of a college education. We’ll put together booths from nearly 100 of the West Coast’s craft breweries, have the sweet sounds of local bands drift through Grand Park and have some ridiculously good food available for purchase.

To re-cap: You. Beer. Music. Food trucks. The City of Angels. The whole shebang. There is no physical way in the universe you can a day better than this. We’ve done the research. It’s science.

• More Breweries – We have more breweries who participate in our festival compared to competitive festivals (in San Diego we had 78, compared to 55 from the next largest festival)

• The Best Venues – We aren’t your mama’s beer fest. We only do festivals at the best venues with killer views which improves the guest experience.

• Charity – We donate more of the proceeds to charity than our competitors. Our last event raised $20,000 for Cancer for College.

For more than 20 years, Cancer for College has been providing hope and inspiration to cancer survivors by granting college scholarships. Cancer is a horrible disease. It can destroy a person physically and emotionally. It can wipe out a family financially as well.

Cancer for College works to help those individuals who have been adversely affected by cancer and help them realize their dream of a college education. More information can be found at cancerforcollege.org

ABOUT THE CHARITY: CANCER FOR COLLEGE

Best Coast Beer Fest was formed to take the standard beer festival to the next level. Born in San Diego, one of the largest craft beer capitals in the world, the BCBF team had been to countless festivals and thought – we can do this, but better. Our goal is to create events that are memorable and provide value and exposure for our partners and sponsors. With a background in marketing, we promote the festivals through a strong pre-event campaign (as outlined in this packet).

We pick the best venues, vendors and entertainment to create fun, festive annual events. Our founders have been planning events for 10+ years and are also graphic designers, which ensures that all marketing materials are top-notch.

Our 2015 San Diego event SOld OUT with 4,500 attendees. We had 78 breweries, 13 food trucks and 4 bands. We raised $20,000 for Cancer for College.

ABOUT BEST COAST BEER FEST – THE COMPANY

B R E W E RY PA RT I C I PAT I O N PAC K E T

Beer enthusiasts living in and visiting Los Angeles between the ages of 25-55 with disposable income.

The City of Los Angeles holds many distinctions. LA is the entertainment capital of the world, a cultural mecca boasting more than 300 museums, and a paradise of good weather. Los Angeles is the place to be. It is the only city in North America to have hosted the Summer Olympics twice.

Southern California’s climate has often been described as “perfect” and with good reason. Most days are sunny and warm, with gentle ocean breezes in the summer.

In fact, there are no unpleasant seasons in Los Angeles.

POPUlaTiOn (2011) City of Los Angeles: 3.8 Million County of Los Angeles: 9.8 Million Los Angeles Six-County Area: 21.0 Million (Los Angeles, Riverside, Ventura, Orange and San Bernardino and San Diego counties)

If the Los Angeles six-county area were a state, it would surpass all states in total population size with the exception of California and Texas.

The diverse, multiethnic population of Los Angeles today distinguishes the city as the cultural hub of the Pacific Rim. In fact, Los Angeles is one of only two U.S. cities without a majority population. People from 140 countries, speaking approximately 86 different languages, currently call Los Angeles home.
