great benefits for your brewery and how to sign up. Spaces are limited to no more than

5 breweries so please return your application to participate right away allowing us the

opportunity to give your establishment as much recognition as possible in the coming

months through our marketing and public relations!

1. The brewery has the opportunity to compete for the title of “Northeast Georgia’s Top Micro-Brewery of

the Year”

2. The brewer and his/her brewery’s names will appear on the PCAH web presence, social media and on all

promotional materials before, during and after the event including a full page in the event program.

3. Publicity will raise public awareness for the brewer and his/her brewery.

4. Promotion during the event will educate the attendees about the brewery and what it has to offer.

5. Each brewery will receive a plaque for his/her participation.

6. Opportunities may be available for media interviews of the Top Brewery Participants.

7. Prevent Child Abuse Habersham is recognized as a 501 (c) (3) by the IRS where donors may deduct con-

tributions provided in section 170 of the code. Please see your accountant for details.

8. The gratification that your generosity and efforts towards this successful event helps generate financial

support of our evidence based prevention programs which are proven to decrease child neglect and

abuse.

Benefits of Participation

People’s Choice: Throughout the evening guests will individually rate their favorite beers in various categories. At the end

of the evening the top choices will be announced.

The theme or décor of a brewery sets the ambiance for its guests. The best “Table Décor” is your opportuni-ty to create any theme or to share with the guests of the event a snapshot of the theme from your brewery. You choose! Creativity is encouraged but keeping it classy with this being a charity event is appreciated.

To keep the playing field fair, the value for your table décor should not exceed $500.

Taste Awards

Breweries need to complete an application to enter the event. The event capacity is limited to no more than

5 breweries, so please sign up early. Yonah Mountain Vineyards will be open for set up beginning at Noon

on the day of the event. Breweries are asked to check in by 4pm.

Expectations of the Brewery

1. Personally attend the event and manage your station and servers.

2. PCAH will produce a printed program for each guest of the event. Breweries should provide a personal

bio, photo, and/or business bio for the event by January 9th, 2018.

3. Each brewery serving station will need 1-2 assistants in addition to the representative.

4. Provide a minimum of one beer taste to each of the 250-300 guests.

5. PCAH will give small glasses to each of the guests.

6. Provide all items necessary to create the table décor along with any related items from your brewery for

Top Décor part of competition.

7. PCAH will provide (2) 6 foot rectangular tables covered in white linens or a rented bar and a table.

8. Breweries are encouraged to promote the event at their business by displaying posters and distributing

post cards to guests. These items will be provided to the participants by Prevent Child Abuse Ha-

bersham.

9. Bring your imagination, creativity, and desire to be named Northeast Georgia’s Top Brewery of the Year!

Sponsorship packages are available. Individual tickets will be released for sale on December 1st, 2017.

Event Details

In an effort to include all local breweries that are passionate for children to live a childhood free

from abuse, but may not be able to compete at the event, we are adding an award category for those will-

ing to raise funds in advance of the event to donate to Prevent Child Abuse Habersham.

Fundraising can take on any shape or form that your establishment may wish to try with the premise

that money raised will go towards their total for the competition of “Best Supporting Brewery”. Breweries

will bring their donations to turn in on the night of the event and the winner will be announced during the

awards presentation. This award is not a requirement to participate in the onsite competition, but is an ad-

ditional fun way to raise needed money for our prevention programs. Any brewery that would like to com-

pete in raising funds is welcomed.

Please notify us of your decision to participate in this fundraising award, as well as any events you

are hosting, so we can help share the information on social media and our website to encourage supporters

attendance at your events.
