Caroling – Look for the Bremerton High School Choir students out and about in your neighborhood tonight! Several members of Ms. McPhetres choir classes will be heading out into the cold to spread some holiday cheer and practicing for their upcoming concert. If they don’t happen to visit your neighborhood, you can see the Bremerton High School Choirs perform FREE next Thursdsay, December 13th at 7PM in the Performing Arts Center at BHS.

Kidzz Helping Kidzz – BHS is participating in the Kidzz Helping Kidzz Toy Drive. You may have seen their story in the Kitsap Sun; you can watch the video here. Three years ago, 9 year-old Zachary Darner’s infant brother was quite ill and in the hospital repeatedly. It was then that Zachary decided to try to raise 50 new toys to give to children at Harrison Hospital and Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. He went door to door in his neighborhood providing informational flyers to neighbors and

friends about his “Kidzz Helping Kidzz” project. He set up collection boxes around town and gave presentations to his classmates at school about the project. The toy drive

exceeded all expectations and has continued to do so each year with higher and higher fundraising goals! This year’s goal is 5000 toys.

New unwrapped toys can be donated in the box outside the BHS Main Office. They are looking for toys appropriate for children 2-16 years old, new books,

games, sports equipment, stuffed animals (new with tags intact), Chromebooks or tablets.
