Dr. Khuloud Bajbouj, PhDCancer Researcher, Sharjah Institute for Medical Research, University of Sharjah

Dr. Khuloud works as Researcher at University of Sharjah. Her field of experience and published papers are in the areas that study tumor biology, Molecular mechanisms and functional consequences of the interaction between tumor and immune cells, testing n ew plant derived-compounds as potential alternative treatment of cancer and protein-protein interactions and molecular signaling during the cell death cascade in c ancer cells. Dr. Bajbouj served as Cancer Biology and Metastasis Researcher at U niversity of Hawaii Cancer Center, USA. She used to work at the Pathology D epartment, School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, USA before joining her current research team at University of Sharjah. Khuloud Bajbouj received her BSc. From U AE University in Biology (Cellular and Molecular Biology Concentration), MSc. in Neuroscience, and PhD in Biology form Otto-von-Guericke University, Germany.

Shelina Jokhiya has lived in Dubai for over 10 years and is the founder of DeCluttr Me. She set up the home and office organising company in response to a need for a professional service in the region and has grown the business to become the UAE’s only licenced, professional organising service.

Shelina has a passion for organising and decluttering, as well as sourcing innovative new storage methods and tips and tricks. A build-up of clutter and possessions can become significant sources of stress, Shelina recognised this and set up DeCluttr Me to enable her clients to live more relaxed, productive lives.

Elaine Kelly is a passionate advocate for health and wellness and a life-long student of yoga. In 2010 after certifying as a yoga teacher, she created the largest wellness festival in the region, Yogafest, which brings more than 5000 participants together to support great causes in the beautiful grounds of Dubai Internet city. Elaine teaches outdoors from November to May allowing her students to benefit from fresh air whether on the beach or in her garden studio. She completed her 300 Therapeutic yoga training in 2016 and now works with special groups and individuals with chronic conditions like cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease using the tools of yoga to support her clients to rediscover their innate state of wellness.
