Dr. Schobeiri is received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Technical University Darmstadt in Germany, later joining the Department of Mechanical Engineering to establish two gas turbine research areas at Texas A&M University. He also worked for the Brown Boveri Gas Turbine Division in Switzerland, where he headed R&D for high efficiency gas turbine engines.
