  • OverviewOur identity is not just the logo. Its a unique design scheme composed of various components that work together to create our distinctive visual style. It is essential to follow the brand tone and guidelines in order to achieve strong and consistent application of our identity and build strong awareness and recognition of our brand.

    The Idea & ConceptStyle & FeelThe logo was designed to give a refreshing feel of dynamic innovation, driven by excellence and relevance, victory, encouraging feel determination and perseverance(Capture awesomeness of the phenomenon). The logo was designed with a formal form of layout to easily communicate and be visible with all the elements at instant glance. The clean slate look is also good and friendly for various application on various mediums.

    The SymbolsTo create a better communication design and tone, it was important to incorporate elements and features that points out all facets of the Ban-gweulu University(Future and present heritage). To communicate that unique element, based on our research with relevance to the universitys location, Vision and heritage. We decided to use:

    a) Rich vegetation and landscape -The clouds meet the dynamic duo of peaceful still water , an element that elaborates the sky is the limit.b) Shield that embodies our universitys pride and strong stand, the shield also stands as a symbol of honor to our education. c) Bird- dynamic Bangweulu bird highlights on the natural heritage of the university location, elaborating an element of strength & Strong visiontowards learning(young biidrs leave their nest in search of life) A spirit to learning.d) landscape - the dynamic duo and combination of green and blue color swirls represents the element of innovation, creativity, knowledge in different levels, phenomenal element of the university, technology, sophisticated excellence and elite approach toward education.

    The use of the energetic curves symbolizes dynamic and innovative process as portrayed in its form .

    TypographyTo complement a clean slate look, we incorporated a clean and tidy Open Sans & Roboto juxtaposed with more space in between to create a border feel around the symbol.
