    Lexus is a brand owned by Toyota. It is established in early 1980s but it is launched in 1989.

    The brand earns a reputation of luxury, quality and customer satisfaction. Its Lexus Marque

    becomes very famous.The brand reputation grew quickly and it becameAmerica's best-sellingline of luxury motor vehicles. Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose memberstogether constitute the world's third-leading automaker.

    The Gillette Company is the world leader in the men's grooming product category as well as in

    certain women's grooming products. Although more than half of company profits are still

    derived from shaving equipment which is the area in which the company started, it has also

    attained the top spots worldwide in writing instruments (Paper Mate, Parker, and Waterman

    brands) and correction products (Liquid Paper), toothbrushes and other oral care products (Oral-

    B), and alkaline batteries (Duracell products, which generate almost one-fourth of company

    profits). Gillette maintains 64 manufacturing facilities in 27 countries, and its products are sold

    in more than 200 countries and territories, with more than 60 percent of sales occurring outside

    the United States.

    Kramer Guitars is an American manufacturer ofelectric guitars and basses. Kramer

    produced aluminum-necked electric guitars and basses in the 1970s and wooden-necked guitarsin the 1980s. Gibson Guitar Corporation is the parent company of Kramer. Kramer was one of

    the most popular guitar brands of the 1980s and the best-selling brand of 1985 and 1986. At the

    height of its popularity, Kramer was considered a prestige instrument and was endorsed by many

    famous musicians of the day.

    In 1870s, two industrious men saw an attractive business opportunity in the delicious yellow

    fruit. In 1870, Capt. Lorenzo Dow Baker purchased 160 bunches of bananas in Jamaica and

    sailed them to Jersey City, New Jersey. There, Baker sold the bananas for a profit, and in 1895,

    Baker established the Boston Fruit Company.

    Qubee is the customer facing brand ofAugere, the wireless broadband business founded in 2007

    by the former CEO ofOrange, Sanjiv Ahuja. It has a mission to provide 'broadband for all' and is

    working to bring available, affordable and accessible broadband internet services to underserved

    communities worldwide.

    Qubee has so far been launched in Pakistan in July 2009 and in Bangladesh in October

    2009. Augere is also expecting to launch Qubee in Uganda and is continuing to pursue spectrum

    across Africa, Asia and South East Asia.

    Burberry was founded in 1856 when 21-year-old Thomas Burberry, a former draper's apprentice,

    opened his own store in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.

    Burberry also specially designed aviation garments. A. E. Clouston and Mrs. Betsy Kirby Green

    made the fastest flying time to Cape Town from London in 1937 and were sponsored by

    Burberry. Burberry was an independent company until 1955, when it was taken over by Great

    Universal Stores (GUS). Burberry Group plc was initially floated on the London Stock Exchange

    in July 2002. GUS divested its remaining interest in Burberry in December 2005.

    In 2004, Warid Telecom International LLC purchased a license for operating a nationwide

    mobile telephony network for $291 million US dollars. Warid Pakistan launched its services in

    May 2005. Within 80 days of launch Warid Pakistan claims to have attracted more than 1 million

    users.

    On June 30, 2007, Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) and Warid Telecom

    announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement subsequent to which SingTel will

    acquire a 30 per cent equity stake in Warid Telecom for an estimated $758 million, valuing the

    company at an enterprise value of $2.9 billion.

    Mobilink started operations in 1994 as the

    first GSM cellular Mobile service in Pakistan by MOTOROLA Inc.

    Later it was sold to Orascom, an Egypt-based multi-national company. In addition to cellular

    service, the Orascom group is diversifying its service portfolio by setting up new businesses.

    Recently, they started offering DSL broadband through a wholly owned subsidiary Link.Net.

    Additionally, the company has also launched its wireless broadband service through WiMax

    based technology under the label of 'Mobilink Infinity'.

    MCB is one of the leading banks of Pakistan with a deposit base of Rs. 368 Billion and total

    assets over Rs.500 Billion. It is incorporated in 1947. In 1974, MCB was nationalized along withall other private sector banks.

    The Bank has a customer base of approximately 4 million, a nationwide distribution network of

    over 1,000 branches and over 450 ATMs in the market.

    Wateen Telecom is a Pakistani telecommunication company based in Lahore, Pakistan and is asister concern ofWarid Telecom. It is founded in 2007.

    With the collaboration of Motorola, they plan on deploying a WiMax country-wide network

    across Pakistan.

    Telenor Pakistan is with investments in excess of US$2 billion. This is European investment. It

    acquired a GSM license in 2004 and began commercial operations on March 15, 2005.

    At the end of October 2010 it had a reported subscriber base of 24.12 million, and a market share

    of 24% making it the country's second largest mobile operator.

    CrossRoads is one of the popular brands of Pakistan. CrossRoads came in existence in the

    winters of 2002. It was known for its wide range of sweaters initially but now its a brand

    providing a whole range of casual western clothing for both men and women. It is currently in 13

    cities of Pakistan with 35 outlets.

    The first store opened on April 21, 1984. Trendy designs seen in South Korea were sold and

    targeted to the Los Angeles Korean-American community. In 1989, Forever 21 opened its first

    store located in a mall, at the Panorama Mall which is in Panorama City; CA. Forever 21 has

    been running specialty stores in major mall locations nationwide. In 1995, the company

    expanded their store in Miami's Mall of the Americas; this location was the first store outside of

    California. Adding new stores every six months, Forever 21 had reached a total of 40 stores by1997.

    The Next brand itself was created in 1982, at the time a revolutionary retail concept, presenting

    coordinated collections of own branded womens wear and accessories in boutique-style

    shopping environments. Since 2001, has provided its customers with next day delivery as

    standard on most home shopping orders. Currently there are over 2 million active Directorycustomers in the UK and over 70% of Next's home shopping business is now transacted online.

    GOURMET BAKERS & SWEETS is the largest food retail chain of Pakistan. It was started in

    1987 and its annual growth is explosive with more than 25%. At the moment there are 1700

    employees working. It has 2 processing units and 28 outlets.
