This set contains a pair of accurate, detaiIed mainwheels for yourAirfix Hellcat kit. these are also perfect for a 1/24th F4U Corsair, if one ever becomes available!

1) Carefully cut casting wings from tire surface. Score and snap off casting wings. Saw tire from molding block and clean up any seams with sandpaper.

Work from back of parts to avoid damaging the detail. Saw or score hubs and snap off from molding block. Carve or sand off raised rib on back of hubs and sand flush. Test fit to wheel and adjust if necessary.

3) This is a good point to paint all the parts. A wash in the hubs will pop out the detail. Add the wheel hubs, lining up the spokes with the internal detail the internal detail Attach with epoxy or slow set glue that will allow you to fine tune the alignment

4) Install wheels during final assembly.with CA or epoxy.
