While Office 2010 has a markedly different look and feel than the popular 2003 version, it’s actually much easier to use, especially once you attend this free lunch hour seminar. Bruce Campbell of Clare Computer Solutions (BR 6) will walk you through some of the biggest changes and provide some invaluable tips and tools to help you make the most of this powerful new version. This session is a must for anyone who’s upgraded or is considering an upgrade to Office 2010.

Space is limited, so please RSVP by calling Tenant Services at 925.543.0100 no later than Monday, December 12.

2011 Tenant Satisfaction Study We’re committed to making Bishop Ranch Northern California’s premier business destination. And the true measure of our success is your satisfaction. That’s why we recently engaged Kingsley Associates, the real estate industry’s leading research and consulting firm, to gather valuable feedback from our tenant community. We’re proud to share some of these top-line findings:

• 95% of Bishop Ranch tenants are satisfied overall, significantly exceeding the Kingsley Index benchmark (86%)

• More than 9 of 10 tenants would recommend Bishop Ranch to business associates and/or colleagues

• More than 90% of our tenants are satisfied with our management, maintenance and leasing services

• All of our building managers exceed the Kingsley Index benchmark for service delivery

According to Kingsley, “Tenant satisfaction at Bishop Ranch ranks among the highest we have seen in Northern California. It’s clear the management team at Bishop Ranch demonstrates a high level of customer service.” As happy as we are to hear that, we know we can always do better. If you have any comments or ideas, we want to know. Please contact Tenant Services at 925.543.0100 with your valued input.

EventsLet There Be Lights10th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration Thursday, December 1, 5:30–7:30 pm 6111 Bollinger Canyon Road (BR1) Outdoor Event

A dazzling holiday tradition returns at this year’s Tree Lighting Holiday Celebration. Gather your friends and family for this wonderful event highlighted by sleigh rides, live music and, of course, the lighting of our beautiful 65-foot holiday tree, which over the past decade has become a local landmark.

Santa Claus is taking some time off from his busy schedule to make a personal appearance, so make sure to bring your camera for some great holiday shots. There will also be other fun activities for the kids—including a play area with real snow for those 12 and under—along with some of the area’s top vendors selling hot chocolate and other treats, and two stages alive with the sounds of the season. And because it’s better to give than receive, The Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano and the Rotary Club’s One Warm Coat program will be accepting your kind donations. No RSVPs necessary. For more information, give Tenant Services a call at 925.543.0100.

Reaching Out, Giving Back Bishop Ranch Volunteer Day

On September 30, a large group of Bishop Ranch tenants joined with Habitat for Humanity to help our community—and our planet—by building new green housing in Oakland. It was a wonderful day of learning new skills, building great camaraderie and enjoying the satisfaction of doing a good job for a good cause. Several Bishop Ranch companies were represented, including Hills Physicians, Robert Half International, Bank of the West, Liberty Mutual and Account Now. We thank everyone for their hard work and support and look forward to making this an annual BR event.
