Merry Christmas everyone! Hope all members are having a fantastic start to the holiday season. I realize that this is an incredibly busy time of year. However, if you have any free time this month, check out the different activities occurring at the lodge during this festive season. Also, last month the lodge held its Children’s Care Corporation (CCC) Auction, and this auction was a smashing success. I wish to thank all the CCC Committee members for their outstanding work. Most people fail to realize just how much work is involved and fail to understand this is a 12-month job. Again, thanks to the committee members and all the volunteers that allow this lodge to meet its most important responsibility to our community. Finally, as we celebrate the birth of Christ, let us use this time to reflect on how blessed each of us are to have wonderful family and friends. From this reflection, may we start 2020 with a renewed commitment to the duty we owe our family, friends, and community.

Our Order has decreed that the first Sunday in each December shall be set apart as a day for Elks to gather about their alters and freshen with the dew of recollection the tender blossoms of hope and love entwined about the memory of their departed. Obedient to our laws, and with hearts attuned in perfect symphony, we meet on this Memorial Day to pledge a new fidelity to the memory of our Members who entered into the realm of

Lodge Drawing ReportFor your information at each meeting we draw a name from those who have paid their dues for a $100 and you must be in attendance that night. The 2019 Elks Children’s Care Auction was a huge success. The money raised was very close to $18,000.00. WOW!!! The outcome was amazing!!!
Again this year we had fantastic sponsors who stepped up and gave willingly and generously!! Also I need to thank all the people who volunteered their time. This auction would not of happened without a lot of effort.
A big shout out goes to the other two ladies on this Children’s Care Committee: Tracy Roderick and Joan Fuesting. We all worked for months to prepare and it took a team to accomplish it all.
From the bottom of my heart I again, want to thank everyone. Together WE accomplished a successful auction!!!
