In response to the above vacancy requirement ofthe department for the cited position and

process undertaken for selection by SPMU. lhis is to inform that you are selected as consultant

lorthePositionofBlockProjectAssistantfordistrict.............-.............Project............................under below terms and conditions -(i) 1-he aforesaid position is purely on contract basis for a full time basis for the period up to

3l December 2015 with an initial probation period of six months. A performanccappraisal at the end of six months will determine exlension ofthe contmct.

(ii) Further informed that this is not government job and under no circumstanccs yourservices will be regularized. You may also note that you are not a Contract Employee ofthe State Covernment and as such rules lor Contract EmDlovee of State Covernment are

not applicable to you.

(iii) This is a specitic job under IDA Assisted ISSNIP and youf position hired by the StateProject Director following the World Bank guidelines on selection and employment ofConsultants (lndividual Consultants) & as per the projcct procurement plan approved byWorld Bank for a specific period.

(iv) The initial consolidated honorarium of Rs. 8000^ (in words Eight thousand only ) permonth would be paid for this consultancy. No other allowances would be reimbursed.TDS will be deducted as Der the lncome Tax law.

(v) 'fravel expenditure, per diem and other cost incidental to the travel undertaken by theConsultant will be reimbursed as per the norms ofthe projecl, which will be brought outin derails in the contmct or later as per GOI/CPMU guidelines.

(vi) This consultancy will be governed by the terms and conditions as per the ContractAgreement signed by him/her.

(vii) The hiring ofservice is terminable before expiry ofthe contract period by giving a noticein writing of30 days by either party.

2. You will be expected to comply with organizational policies and procedures upon joining.This contractual employment also r€quires that you do nor panicipate in any otheractivities that will be in conflict of the interests for this appointrnent and departmentalactivities.

3. In case you are willing to acc€pt the above offer, you are requested to confi.m the same(by letter ofconsent) within seven days of issuance ofthis letter (to the undersigned) and

enter into conlracl agreement.
