MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs statewide organizations is to collaboratively secure
financial resources for local Clubs to serve Tennessee’s youth and teens.

Tennessee’s statewide organizations aspire to be the premier organization representing youth
and teens in the state and will continually look for opportunities to strategically expand its
services and grow.

DEFINITIONSState Alliances are incorporated as a 501(c) 4 and whose purpose is to provide guidance and promote development of youth served by Boys & Girls Clubs by securing resources to strengthen the state-wide effectiveness of Boys & Girls Clubs and by promoting and strengthening Boys & Girls Clubs relationships with public agencies throughout the state of Tennessee.
Boys & Girls Clubs in Tennessee’s Community-Based Organization (CBO) is a 501(c) 3 whose purpose is to promote exclusively the social welfare of young people and teens served by the various Boys & Girls Clubs in the State of Tennessee and who are serving children in the state of Tennessee.
