Believe in U (BIU) http://believeinu.org/ Believe in U (BIU) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing youth across the nation to realize their potential by providing interactive programming that supports them through their personal growth process. NFL veteran Usama Young founded the Usama Young Youth Foundation in 2009; and launched BIU in 2014 aiming to empower disadvantaged youth, including those with disabilities or those from non-traditional families and underserved communities. By providing mentorship and scholarship to these youth – and by actively advocating to create healthy, thriving communities for them to grow in – it aims to drastically increase the realm of opportunities available to them. Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County http://www.bgcaa.org/ The Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (BGCAA) offers youth from the ages of six to eighteen with guidance-oriented character development programs conducted by trained, professional staff. Clubs reach out to all kids including those who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs. The Clubs are open every day after school and during the summer, when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets. Dues are low, averaging $20 per school year. BGCAA's six Clubs can be found in Annapolis, Severn and Pasadena serving more than 2,200 youth each year. BGCAA is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Movement which has provided hope and opportunity to those who need it most for more than 100 years. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started every day. Learn more at www.BGCAA.org
