Have you picked up your I Survived the Friday the 13th Norman Tornadoes t-shirt yet? WhileI am writing this only a day after the storm left its mark on our town, Im sure that there are someof these shirts being printed right now. Thousands of pics are already gracing our Facebook andTwitter feeds and its kinda cool to see something out of the ordinary buzzing around there. Norman

storms are nothing new, but for us to actually have a tornado touch down in central Norman ... crazy.I can only imagine what it must feel like for those students who arent from the Midwest who werepersuaded to get all hunkered down in the basement at Dale Hall or the Union fearing for their lives.Every year the news seems to make a big deal about tornadoes when a storms a-brewin in Okla-homa. And every year it seems like the tornadoes miss the heart of Norman, usually hitting southor north of us. In fact, I dont think I can ever recall a tornado that did serious damage in centralNorman during my lifetime. So, I think most Normanites would agree with me when I say that wetake the threat of tornadoes a little less serious than the rest of Oklahoma, usually standing on ourporch watching the drama pass right over us. Well, not anymore! Im sure you all saw the pics of giant uprooted trees as well as structural damage, and we are lucky that no one was seriously injured.Next time a major storm is headed our way you can nd me in a basement playing a serious saferound of the Gary England drinking game ... whos bringing the 30-pack? Oh yeah ... and if youvebeen living under a rock ... NORMAN MUSIC FESTIVAL BEGINS APRIL 26th. See you there.

    >> Hello, my riend. Stay a while and listen. Along withWarCra t and StarCra t , this was parto the triumvirate that brought Blizzard to the ore ront o gaming. This was a simple game, butre ned for its time: era-de ning graphics, randomly-generating dungeons and even free multi-player, via Battle.net. In some cases, youd need multiplayer or this game, because it can get di -cult at times, but it was always rewarding to try and play through the game ... provided it didntgive you nightmares. Some o those creatures were pretty terri ying to a seven year old.Diablo III iscoming out next month; why not whet your appetites by trying this?

    Retro Reviews1996 RPGDiablo

Retro Reviews2003, RPG Star Wars:Knights o theOld Republic >> BioWare got amous ora reason, in spite o the is-sues with the ME3ending.TheBaldurs GateandNeverwinter Nightsgames got its namerecognized, but this was thebreakout hit that launchedthe company into stardom. SWKOR was the 2003 Gameo the Year by almost univer-sal consensus, and or goodreason: a game that was ex-tremely easy to pick up andtold a story that was a greatdeal better than the prequellms (and so was the act-ing). It stood out graphicallyor its time and it opened upthe Expanded Universe toans who only knew Star Wars through the movies. I youvenever played this, get it. You

    enjoy it.

    >> To me, this says, Problem with ending? BUY MORE CONTENTS.

The End is the BeginningThe recent outrage over Mass E ect 3svague, unsatis ying ending is justi ed, but recti ying it withDLC that will likely cost money would set a dangerous precedent that will de nitely be repeated.

    >>

So, I would think by the time this columnruns that everyone interested in MassE ect 3would have beaten it. I reviewedthe game in the previous issue, and

verall, it was a really good game in my opinion,ut I didnt address the ending then or threeeasons: The game as a whole was great and Iidnt want to bring the entire review down, I

wanted everyone else to get the game nishedst and itll take more than just the reviewection to address it. Obviously, there are going toe spoilers with this article, just air warning i youavent nished it yet.At the end o the game, Shepard is given threeptions or stopping the Reapers: destroyinghem, controlling them or merging organic andybernetic li e. No matter which option is chosen,he mass relays are destroyed, and whicheverhoice is made would have wide-reachingonsequences or the galaxy ... but no matter

which ending you choose, no matter how manyllies you brought to the nal battle, you get aeries o red, blue or green explosions across thealaxy, the Normandy inexplicably being in a

mass relay at the time and crashing, and no reallosure about what happens at all. (Except thathere is one circumstance where Shepard survives,

somehow back on Earth.)A ter playing through three games and cra ting

your own unique story, thats all you get. Manyfans were incensed at this non-ending, leadingthem to start a Retake Mass E ect campaign totry and pressure BioWare and EA to give endingswith better closure that doesnt more or lessdestroy the galaxy no matter which ending youpick. Even i the Reapers are completely destroyedand the allied orces achieve total victory, theentiremilitary capacity o the galaxy is stuck inEarths orbit with no way to get back home.

BioWare appears to be listening, to a point.A blog post by the companys co-founder, RayMuzyka, indicates that theyve noticed howirritated the an base is and that theyre alreadyworking on a number o game content initiativesthat will help answer the questions, providingmore clarity or those seeking urther closure totheir journey. On the sur ace, this seems like avictory or ans o the series, mysel included, butI am a little suspicious about how they plan toimplement it. Were supposedly going to nd outmore this month, but part o me wonders i theydidnt have it set up this way in the rst place, thatthey intended to release the real ending later.Theres a way or this to work within the story as

it stands - remember how I said theres one endingwhere Shepard survives and somehow wakesback up on Earth? Between that and the waythings started to visually look in the nal scene,it may have all been a dream o sorts via Reaperindoctrination.

I BioWare does do something along the lines o releasing a new ending, this would be a good wayto go about it, although it seems all too convenient. What worries me is i they end up releasing thereal ending later as DLC, they may charge or it,which would honestly be adding insult to injuryto the fan base. We already paid $60 for the fullgame, now are we going to have to pay $10 or $15or the way it really ended? The very thought o it

just irritates me. I thats how it turns out, then Iguess Ill suck it up and deal with it, but i BioWareis going to work on a better ending (or i they hadone all along), why not make it ree? Make it good,o course, but let it be a patch or ree DLC. I Ive gotto pay more money to get the real ending, Ill do it,as will many ans, but BioWares reputation wouldbe ruined. I theyre willing to let us have the realending, then at least I would call it all water underthe bridge. Its just the best move or them, bothPR-wise and for future sales.

Do you ever get the eeling that youre being watched? SinceI was young Ive had a recurring dream. (Its not really mydream, its my riends dream, but its more convincing in therst person.) The dream goes like this:

I walk into this white tent. Its 15 eet by 15 eet square, and insidetheres a grass oor but the walls are white at drywall, like amuseum. To the right and le t are doorways leading to other rooms. As I walk into the room, the wall Im acing holds a large portrait o Alf, the alien puppet from the 90s TV show of the same name. So Icheck it out and then I leave to go to another room, but as I enterthat room, it is the exact same room. Even when I try to go out the

door that I came in through, it leads me back to the same room withthe grassy oors, white walls and the creepy portrait o Al . Then Icatch on to something. Im being watched. By Al . Like an old murdermystery in a castle, the eyes turn and look at me. I have no idea whois behind the painting, i theyre smiling or laughing or i they havea blank expression, but I want to nd out. So I run like mad, neverescaping the room or the eyes. Until I wake up.When I was younger, it rightened me to death. I would wake up

covered in sweat, heart pounding. But a ter years o returning to thatsame room, I began to get com ortable. I began to wonder who wasbehind the wall. SometimesI could tellthey were in a goodmood. Sometimes they were anxious. Sometimes they were plottingmy murder. Whoever it was never came out rom behind the painting, though, and we became com ortable with each other despite thatact. Now, when I return to the Al room (and I do still return to theAl room regularly), it eels like an oasis: my secret place where I cango to be com ortable while I ponder the universe.

Evangelicals(one o my avorite local bands) are kind o that dream. Evangelicals are a mystery to me. They are sodi erent. There is something haunting and dodgy about theand the music, same as the Al painting. Theres somethingand weird and mysterious about Evangelicals; something hidbegs to be explained. But I dont want it to be explained. Tintrigue and the magic. I eel com ortable in the strangenessIn conclusion, the band that I am most excited to see at N

Music Festival 5 is Evangelicals, and I think that you shouldcheck them out too. Evangelicals will be playing the Blackwa(in the alley behind Coachs), Saturday, April 28th at midnigout my blog at boydstreet.com/local-music for a recentconducted with Evangelicals rontman, Josh Jones.

    By ElizabethAtherton

Some things like oh, I dont know, a bad Whitney Houston joke can just come too soon. Likewise, when it comes to arelationship, the ast lane wont always get you to whereyou want to be.

Given the time o year it is, I think it is sa e to say that relationshipswill be sprouting up aster than the weeds in your yard. Now when Isay relationships, what I really mean here

is potential relationships. Like the pool, this is the time o year when people testthe relationship waters.

Although some love experts think thisunsure testing/courting stage is a parto the natural cycle o things, I see it tobe about as natural as a cow patty in arying pan. No thank you. Ive been thereand I can tell you that getting-to-know-you stage can be so awkward it hurts. Buthowever much I hate that stage, I must sayits a necessary one - well usually. There isan exception (as always). Lately, largelydue to people graduating or moving homeor the summer, people that are in thosebeginning stages o a relationship rightbe ore graduation or whatever are being orced, aster than usual,to decide whether or not they want to take the next step with thatperson they are in the um-yeah-I-guess-were-dating-I-mean-we-hang-out stage with.

Along with bad timing, I too am blaming the economy. I mean weare not in World War II here, our men and women shouldnt have tobe leaving suddenly, but they are - because they have to. One of theworst things about this economy (maybe not the absolute worst, butromantically it is) that Ive yet to hear people discuss is that couplesare being orced into steps sooner than they would i the job market

wasnt so unstable. I your current relationship prospect receives a job o er in another state, youre left with three not-so-great choices:1) move with him/her 2) try long-distance 3) be stuck without yourpotential long-lost-love. Great. I hope you at least know his middlename by now.Despite the drawbacks of fast-forwarding through the uncertain

courtship, I think good can come rom

it. What brings me to this point? Lets justsay I know a girl. About a month and ahal ago she started dating a guy. Due toa chain o events and a job o er, he willsoon be leaving Oklahoma or Colorado. On top o it all, hes asked her to go withhim. Yes, to Colorado. This adventurewould entail quitting her job, breaking herlease and moving away rom her amily. Togo live with a man who in some countrieswould still be considered a stranger. No, just kidding, hes de nitely not a stranger. But still.

Now, being the good riend I am, I couldonly tell the girl what I would do, and inall honesty I would like to think Id go. I

mean she says she loves the guy. Now, under two months isnt reallyenough time to decide i you want to move in with someone, butwhen time isnt on your side, I say go with your gut. And in this caseher gut is telling her to set sail.

Speaking o boats, I heard just the other day a quote rom theologianand author William Shedd: A ship is sa e in the harbor, but thats notwhat ships are or. And there you have it.

When you hear the word documentary, whatcomes to your mind? Does Ken Burns voiceimmediately start playing in your head, accompanied by epic Civil War music and

photographs? Do you see image a ter image o someboring slideshow played in class? Is An Inconvenient Truth the only one that you can name?

The days o documentaries being limited to historyclassrooms and intellectual settings are over. The numbero documentaries that ocus on entertainment ratherthan in ormation as their primary ocus is increasing. The ace o modern media is continually changing, and documentaries are changing as well. Markets arecontinually growing more segmented. Audiences ingeneral are searching or lms to t niche markets, and while studios still produce blockbusters that crossgenre and artistic lines to amass tremendous box ofceturnouts, a great portion o the lm industry is devoted toproviding speci c lms.

In some ways, documentaries provide lms or asingle market. Lovers o the documentary style areable to nd a wide variety o subjects to provide themwith entertainment. However, it is more common ordocumentaries to be made to serve the audience o aspeci c subject or interest.

As lms increasingly take the place o books as a

common orm o entertainment (though, granted, thats

another discussion in and o itsel ), documentaries areshi ting orms to take the place o di erent types o literature. As one might expect, they adequately ll therole o non ction books. Recently, theyve begun to takethe place o biography and memoir.

Consider, or example, the recent documentariesmade on music stars. Justin BiebersNever Say Never grossed over $73 million at the domestic box ofce, anumber that points not only to the continuing overlapbetween di erent media, but also to the popularity o documentaries in mainstream theater. The upcomingPart o Me, which tells the story o Katy Perry, is beingmarketed in a similar way, telling the story o a popularmusic icon through mainstream theaters. By takingadvantage o the popularity o these singers, lmmakersare bringing documentary lm into new audiences.

The term documentary is becoming more exible.Filmmakers are using documentary as a tool to bringresh media to audiences across di erent subjects, and asa tool to entertain viewers in a resh way. Organizationsare using documentary-style videos to promote theircauses and products. In ormation and entertainment arebecoming intertwined, and as the style becomes morepopular directors are able to capitalize on that popularityo entertainment in order to convey their message. Thegrowth o documentaries in orm and distribution is a

    growing orce in cinema.

NORMAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 5The streets o downtown Norman are alive with the sound o music during this

Its time once again to gear up or the annual event that has been the biggest thing to hitNorman since Bob Stoops came to town. Im talking about the music extravaganza thatis Norman Music Festival 5. This marks the ests th year, which has in each year sinceits inception increased in both quantity and quality. Now its one o the premier music

stivals in the region, and according to Steven White, chairman o the estival, attracted anstimated 35-45,000 people last year. He also said last years event is estimated to have had a3.6 million economic impact on our fair city, and thats nothing to sco at.Norman Music Festival consists o two evenings and one ull day o music, music and more

music, beginning on the evening of Thursday, April 26th and continuing Friday night and allay Saturday. Outdoor stages and 11 venues all over downtown Norman will host bands, ling the streets with sound. Most of the musicians featured at the festival are Oklahoma-ased, so this is a great opportunity or them to showcase their music as well as network withther musicians. Its also a great opportunity for us non-musicians who just want to hangut with riends (and thousands o strangers), have a drink and hear lots and lots o trulyxceptional music.Steven White has been involved in Norman Music Festival since it began in 2008, primarilyorking with production and booking bands. He said the number o bands applying to thestival has risen signi cantly. We had a little over 300 last year and we were just overwhelmed, and this year we hadver 500, he said. And year by year, interest in per orming at the estival keeps growing. As the estival becomes more success ul and popular even though the bands know

ome o them might not get paid anything still just to be a part o that weekend, to beart o the Norman Music Festival, people get real excited about it and they line up to do it.ont think that I ever take that or granted because thats what this is all about; promoting

ocal musicians and hope ully helping some musicians take the step to the next level

howcasing the local musicians is what the Norman Music Festival is all about, White said.Organizers of the festival go to great lengths to make each year more eco-friendly than thest.Hope ully everything that we do is thinking about the ootprint that the estival will haveterwards, and we always want to try to minimize that, White said.White also said that every year a special committee works to nd new ways to make thestival greener. Recycling bins will be placed around downtown to make disposing o luminum cans and plastic bottles hassle-free, and White said he hopes to have a 1:1 ratioith trash cans and recycling this year.In e orts to encourage riding bicycles to the estival, White said that on Saturday, the

arking lot behind the Opolis will be cleared to set up bike racks, giving people a speci c,pacious area to park their bikes. With downtown being so centrally-located, theres really noeason not to ride a bike, or even walk. But i you dont live reasonably close, there should belenty o parking available.

Between bands, make your way to the Dustbowl Arts Market, which100 block o West Main Street. This arts and cra ts air showcases somtalented artists. Here youll nd one-of-a-kind jewelry, pottery, artwand much more. Over 40 vendors will be on hand, so youre bound toto take home. While most music festivals wouldnt be appropriate for children

riendly. In act, theres a special area set aside just or kids. The Wildcentered around activities or kids and also eatures a stage. Kids can gplay musical instruments and create their own artwork in this area. A vby Normans most talented kids will take place on the stage. Street pand stilt-walkers are among the scheduled entertaining acts makestival, and thats un or all ages. And o course, kids arent allowed tobars eaturing music, but they are welcome at the outdoor stages.Though the festival is free, its absolutely worth it to buy a VIP

the VIP area in front of the stage, a limited edition t-shirt, complimmore. You might even get the chance to mingle with your favorite just never know. Another fun part of this years VIP pass is that badge on a lanyard, it comes in the form of a laser-cut wooden badis your literal ticket to a fantastic, exclusive Norman Music Festivbe purchased on the estivals website. When the much-anticipated event rolls around, an unbelievable

converge in downtown Norman to do their thing. The awesome thingFestival is the diversity of the music exhibited there. Hip-hop, experimental, blues, metal pretty much any genre you can think o is

The estival kicks o on Thursday evening at a number o indoor venuTheatre will host a comedy night, and music is on the agenda at the Band many other places. Make this your destination or going out insteadand you wont be sorry.Friday evenings events will be similar to the previous night, with th

venues including a Latin Stage. DeadCENTER Film Festival will pSooner Theatre, and other venues will host bands. With so many thing(in addition to the stellar bars and restaurants always open downtown), On Saturday at noon, an all-out musical onslaught begins. Dow

a treasure trove o music in addition to the large outdoor stages, yband literally around each and every corner. Almost every bar, restaudowntown lls up with a barrage o sound. You can walk around or and dipping in and out o these places, and hear so much music your eaWhether youre checking out a band outside with hundreds o other peoor at the Blue Bonnet Bar packed in tight checking out the band on theiis unbeatable.Boyd Street Recommends:No doubt about it, Main Stage headliner Portugal. The Man is

experimental/rock band hails rom Portland. Their sound is delight ulhas a haunting quality. Texan Hayes Carll, headliner on the Jack Danibe missed. His strong yet raspy voice complements a traditional countworth noting: The Damn Quails, Olivia Tremor Control, Other Livesand Alejandro Escovedo.

Tips for Enjoying the Festival:Wear sunscreen. The heat so ar is probably an indication that the sun all day Saturday, so take some precautions to avoid a pain ul sunburn.Plan ahead. Theres just no way to see and hear all the bands. Seri

Check out the schedule on the Norman Music Festival website and theithere are certain bands you want to see, make it happen.Take lotsa cash. All the music is FREE, which is amazing in itsel , b

drinks and shopping at the Dustbowl Arts Market and the shops downyour credit card being o any use to you in most o these places. Ano buckets going around, giving you the chance to donate to the estsponsorships are what keep it ree, so get in the giving spirit.Ride your bike. As stated earlier, there will be plenty o bike racks ava

everyone, so biking it to the estival is a good way to go. You wont havand youll get some exercise in there too.

    O The Corner By SarahHill

    28

    T

here are days, those horrible days, when a woman, skinny, at orotherwise, cannot ind something to wear. They are horrible days. Acloset ull o clothes and they all dont look right. The best thing todo on a day like that is go shopping. Im not an expert, but I do think

its important to point out that Norman has an unusual amount o very cuteand very-very cute boutiques. One of the newer boutiques among them is LXXI(pronounced Lexie) located on Main Street - candy apple red overhang sign, with white printed LXXI letters written on it and boutique art ully overlaidin turquoise on top - cant miss it, super adorable. By far I think that LXXI hashit the much-needed mark when it comes to satisfying the needs of Normansfashion-hungry women.

Since the store only opened in November, Im impressed to see how pulledtogether the place is. From what I saw on the racks, they carry everything rombusiness casual to everyday wear. Shoes? Yes, theyve got them. Bracelets? Yeah- duh. Headbands? Yes, they have those too. Along with purses and just aboutanything else that has to do with ashion. But back to the clothes ... theyve gotthe classics and the trendy. Check out their new spring dresses (picnic anyone?)and awesomely bright colored shorts or summer (Ill take three, thank you).

The bright painted walls complimented with stylish patterned wallpapermake LXXI a shopping oasis. And does it get better? Well, yes, they also supportNorman artists, so there is local artwork displayed on the walls. As i that wasntsupportive enough, they even sell Thunder shirts and participate in Normans ArtWalk. Theyre also constructing a salon in the back ... all theyll need now is a bar(well, or a hallway that goes to Bison Witches next door).

Made with much better quality than Ive seen rom stores like Forever21 or theGap, (at least thats my opinion) and priced equally as well ($15-$35), LXXI offerschic and a ordable style options in a trendy and un atmosphere. On top o thechicness, just a little online research led me to their Twitter page, (@LXXIBoutique)which I am now ollowing because o their crazy deal announcements like theirBlack Friday deal o irst 25 customers get a ree gi t with purchase or the deal

on Mardi Gras where anything in the store that had Mardi Gras bead20% o ... and they served gumbo. Genius! Genius!

Now despite the passion displayed in this article, I dont shop owindow-shopping counts. If it does count, than you can conside

And in that case my expert advice to you would be or you to checkboutique on Main Street (yeah, you bet that rhymes). The prices ara ordable and the style is right on the money. Hope ully this place ctrade in my window-shopping days for the real thing.

    By Chris Joseph

Opening day brings hope or all baseball ans, rom the Cubs ans in Chicago that stillbelieve this will be the year to the Pirate ans hoping to have their rst winningseason since Sid Bream chugged around third base knocking the Pirates out o the National League Championship Series in 1992. This is my 2012 Major League

Baseball preview o teams to watch and whom I eel will be playing or it all in this yearsWorld Series.

American League East:Over the last few years this has been a three-team race between theNew York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays. This year will be no di erent. The Boston Red Sox look to put the end o last season behind them with their epic collapseand the blow up afterward, and with a new manager Bobby Valentine there will be no morechicken and beer in the Red Sox clubhouse. All the talent in Boston will not result in postseasonplay this year.

The lower part o the A.L. East sees the Toronto Blue Jays and their big bat Jose Bautistawill not be enough or the team up north. Baltimore will be better, but Buck Showalter hasthe Orioles improving. Young talent like catcher Matt Wieters and Adam Jones no notthat Adam Jones will make Orioles games entertaining; however will not be enoughto punch through this year. Tampa Bay and New York are your two best teams in thisdivision. Tampa made the playo s with their late surge and Bostons collapse, but this Raysteam is good with good young bats and arms they will push the Yankees. The pinstripers willwin this division this year. El Capitan-Derek Jeter leads the team for his 17th season and C.C.Sabathia is a beast on the mound, but I am going only with history. The Yankees have won theWorld Series every time the Kentucky Wildcats have won the NCAA Basketball title cantgo against history like this.

American League Central:The Central Division is an easy one i you ask me. It is the DetroitTigers and everyone else is playing to hope to get one o the two wild card spots. Minnesota,Cleveland, Kansas City and Chicago all have some good talent both veteran and youngerplayers. Take Kansas City with young guns like Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas make up agreat corner combo. Minnesotas Joe Mauer is the face of the Twins - too bad he does nothave much help. Cleveland has pitchers going by alias names and a Travis Ha ner who neverreally lived up to the hype. The south side o Chicago welcomes one o their own back asnew manager Robin Ventura leads the White Sox who have playo talent o ensively, but willpitching cost them a shot at a wild card? All this and the division is all Detroits MVPand Cy Young winner Justin Verlander is throwing rocks on the mound and when you putPrince Fielder and Miguel Cabrera in the same lineup, what you get is a short supply Rawlings

baseball Tigers win easily.American League West: The west has been won the last two years by the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers have ailed to capitalize on back to back World Series trips and it will be hardto make it a third year in a row. The Los Angeles Angels added The Machine Albert Pujols, but that will not help as the Rangers will ride o in to the sunset with the West crown again.Seattle and Oakland are nothing of the teams they were in the late 80s or 90s, so be ready forthe Mariners and the As to be out o contention early in the year.

National League East:This has been the Philadelphia Phillies division and it may stay thatway, but the Phils have company this year. Do not laugh when I say the Washington Nationalscould pose a threat this year. Stephen Strasburg and Bryce Harper (who will be called up myguess by the all-star break) could make this team a lot of fun to watch. Atlanta has decentpitching but no one to hit the ball; my thought is the Braves will struggle this season. The NewYork Mets lost Jose Reyes and gain Johan Santana, back or the rst time in almost two years.

David Wright will pace the Mets at the plate and could be in contention. South Bnew color but the same ol sh. The Miami Marlins have some talent but the questOzzie Guillen get the Marlins to get it together? Phillies win the East once again, to the nal day.

National League Central:Central was probably the hardest division or me to gure oDe ending World Series Champions St. Louis Cardinals may be down a pitcher or

will still be riding that high o winning it all. Milwaukee, Cincinnati and Pittsbuchallenge or the crown. Pittsburgh even held rst place or a ew days last year all-star break, and have signed their star player Andrew McCutchen to a longChicago Cubs and Houston Astros will bring up the rear, and yes ans on the Nogoing to be another long year, and another year with no title. (Okay, that was a liWhite Sox an side coming out). I have The Reds rom Cincinnati winning this div

National League West:The National League West is a con using conundrum o basebanever know what is going to happen with these our teams. Los Angeles, San DiegColorado and San Francisco beat up on each other all season and its always a closto the nal week i not nal day. The L.A. Dodgers have new ownership and a Cy Yoin Clayton Kershaw and the guy who I felt should have won the NL MVP inMatt Kemp. San Francisco has two o the best pitchers in Tim Lincecum and phenBuster Posey is back. The Arizona Diamondbacks won the West last year and Colodangerous. I am going with the Giants to win this division.

My playo picks rom the American League: Division winners are Detroit, NewTexas. The two wild card teams will be the Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles AALCS I have the Yankees beating the Rangers to advance to the World Series.

From the National League: Division winners Cincinnati, San Francisco and Philatwo wild card teams will be the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins. In thethe Cardinals losing to the Reds.

My World Series prediction is the Yankees to beat the Reds and add another chamtheir long history o winning history says so.

The Boys o Summer are BackYes, it is spring but that means the boys o summer are back in action across Majostadiums across the country.
