Boy Scouts of America Promotes Protection of Youth
IntroductionSince 2013, Ryan Vucina has led and
participated in complex construction processes as the Chief Operations Manager of Vucina Construction. Ryan Vucina received recognition for the preservation of the Green Mansion, the first Boy Scouts Headquarters in America. Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is one of the country’s largest organizations which aims to instill values and character in America's youth.
The BSA aims to foster a culture of safety and awareness.
Boy Scouts of AmericaIts Youth Protection training program teaches all
leaders and volunteers about the “three R’s”: recognize, respond, and report any activity that will endanger the child. The organization also enforces a strict and mandatory process of reporting child abuse in the form of physical or emotional neglect.
Adult leaders and members of the BSA are sworn into this responsibility through the Scout Oath and Scout Law. BSA also emphasizes zero tolerance for unethical acts within its Scouting program, and any violation can lead to revocation of membership.
