The L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center is a 68,000 square foot multi-purpose facility located on WKU’s 780 acre Agriculture Complex. The complex has numerous meeting and conference rooms and a 315 seat theater style demonstration/sales arena. The 18,000 square foot show arena has a 2,076 seating area which can be extended to accommodate as many as 2,400 people and 45 exhibit spaces. The Expo Center also features 30 RV hook-ups, 250 horse

stalls, covered and heated wash racks, and a 200 x 100 outdoor warm-up arena. Ample parking is available on a paved lot. Direct access to major highways and Interstate 65 makes the facility easily accessible.

Greek Revival mansion built by onetime Mayor of Bowling Green, Francis Kister. Listed as a Historic Home to be used for the purpose of restoration, preservation and a cultural and educational center. Main level includes a dining room, parlor, large foyer and kitchen. There is approximately 462 sq. ft. of meeting space, with theater and reception capacity at 75 and banquet capacity at 50. The second level includes additional small rooms. Tables and chairs are available for use with table linens available for a fee.

Constructed of hewed cedar logs, the house is located on Western Kentucky University’s campus at the top of “the hill”. The Historic RailPark has three railcars available for rent: Duncan Hines Dining Car seats 48 with space for a caterer to set up.

Presidential Car has a small parlor and small dining room that has a table with 6 chairs.

Caboose is an open space that can seat 10 kids and 5-6 adults comfortably, or up to 25 people standing.

Collecting Kentucky, the museum serves as a time capsule for Kentucky history, including Civil War, World War II, Kentucky authors, Mammoth Cave, early university life, folklore, South Union Shakers and politics. The Kentucky Room, located on the 2nd floor of the museum, has 3,000 sq. ft. and can hold 200 banquet or theatre style and 400 reception style. The Garden Gallery holds 30 banquet style.

Completed in 1872, Riverview is an elegant interpretation of a prosperous Victorian home. A single meeting room is located on the basement level and is 240 square feet, seating 24 at round tables and up to 18 at rectangular tables. A kitchen is available for use and includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.

The Shaker Tavern, built in 1869 as a business venture for the South Union Shakers, housed a hotel for the “people of the world.” Today you can rent a room or the whole facility for a variety of functions, including meetings and receptions.
