From the Principal’s Desk…
Thank you to all of the parents and friends who were
able to attend our special Book Week Mad Hatter’s
Tea Party open classrooms. Despite the rain
everyone had a wonderful time dressing up and
enjoying their classroom tea parties. Thank you to all
of the parents who helped decorate and organise the
classroom tables and a big thank you to Ms Gestier
(Our wonderful Queen of Hearts!) for coordinating
the whole event.
Last week Year 3 – 6 attended the Great Aussie Bush
Camp! Everybody returned safe and sound with
exciting stories to tell and some wonderful memories.
All students should be congratulated on their
exemplary behavior and positive attitudes. Thank you
also to the teachers who attended.
This week is National Literacy and Numeracy Week.
We will be celebrating throughout the week with a
number of special events. These include a
Mathematics ‘Space and Geometry’ Workout day on
Wednesday, all students should wear their workout
athletics gear to school as they will rotate amongst
classes to experience a range of activities. Our
Effective Communicators Public Speaking Assembly is
on Thursday at 11:30am which all parents are
welcome to attend. For further details of our school
events for this week please see the school eNews
app.
A reminder to all parents as they pick up and drop of
their children before and after school to be
considerate towards our community neighbours and
not park in ‘No Parking’ zones or drive ways. Thank
you.
