Inventory is down 10% compared to last year but sales are up 25%. There is a shortage of listings.

under contract. Still an amazing
amount of activity in the market!
The market has peaked already for the year but activity remains
strong.
Total sales are up approximately 25% from last
year. The end of June was a very
busy time for closings.
Even as the market improves there are fewer listings going on
the market.
Boulder County was ranked 10th
in the nation for
appreciation over the
past year.

My View of the MarketOver the first half of the year:
Sales are up 25% compared to last year. The inventory remains low compared to the activity. The shortages in the market were compounded by
the activity, around 40% of the market was under contract for most of the spring.
The conditions were perfect for price stabilization and improvement. Low inventory and high demand.
Boulder County was ranked 10th best in the nation (out of 306 metro areas) in home appreciation.
